your wario is something to behold. your techs are always easy to read though. you also seem very good at the peach match-up considering how fast you caught on to the way i played.

Yeah, I'll admit that techs are something I need work on.

Maybe I'm just paranoid about Peach because Sorabotics whipped my a** with her.

Wario dash attack is freagin brutal under lag.

Yeah, Peach is a tech chase monster if used correctly. Its what I'm trying to teach all the Peach mains, but it hasn't got to them yet I don't think. Its not as much about what direction you tech in, its making sure that you don't miss the tech, because high level players will punish you for it, especially someone who is playing Peach correctly.

Devdraco if you see this, yes I did play very dull and boring. If you let me charge Wario Waft I'll happily sit back and wait for an opportunity to use it. Wario isn't exactly built for offense, anyway.

GGs btw. Honestly your Megaman did much better than your Naruto. You could've scored a win if you pressured me more often.

It is pretty hard to react to online. It can destroy most projectiles, even Zelda's {Din's Fire}. Dash Attack is probably one of his staple moves.

I beat his Naruto and lost to his Megaman as well. I was pretty close on that one though.

Pretty much the reason Wario was a joke in the last version and is still a little unfair. He has too good of a defensive/punish game to deserve a game changer like Waft. Same with DK and Naruto to a lesser extent. They're already such good characters. They don't need gimmicky stocks from OP moves that do nothing but bog the game down. Wario has almost no reason to approach, and that's a problem.

I agree that Wario excels at the lame and punish game. His superb air control plays a big part in this, and his slow speed is actually very helpful. Most of his moves push the opponent far enough for Wario to run away and safely charge his Waft, and Shoulder Bash is a great escape option.

I think Wario's offense is horrendous, though. The majority of Wario's staple moves can be baited into shield grab or some setup. And those moves leave Wario very vulnerable if they whiff. Wario doesn't have a single move with armor, either. I'm pretty sure Wario can't camp against characters like Samus and Bomberman since they can setup something big in a much shorter amount of time.

I'd be happy if they nerfed Wario Waft in exchange for armor properties on some of his moves.

It is pure luck. (Yeah, me again) Either it works, or it doesnt. The distance between you and your opponent is a factor, Low/High Latency makes a difference, but Rule No. 1 for Online play is:

Never hit the Sandbag. Never. Not even if you would get paid. Dont. Hit. The Sandbag.

Yeah, the lag with Sach was insane.

GGs to SS again. Just couldn't do it against the DK. Made way too many stupid mistakes and you can't make any against the dude.
