You posted a bit much. Modern Sonic over Modern Knuckles but Classic Knuckles over Classic Sonic. Because I don't have too many modern games: Knuckles.

Would you rather have Fire Mario (old sprites) or Mario Finale? (new sprites) What I'd really like would be Fire Mario with his new sprites. I mean how hard could a recolor, some changes to his status and a few fire add-ons be? Very difficult but worth it.
