I think all the veterans will come back from SSF1, minus the fan characters. Mr. Incredible was also slated to be cut, but the Devs could pull a Sakurai on us and announce he is playable. I want to see Mewtwo and Zero because they are both highly requested characters.

I'd love to see Cloud and Crono return, and Mewtwo and Zero would be cool too.
I also hope Knuckles makes it in, though I'm not so keen on Shadow; 3 Sonic reps is enough.
And like I've said many times before, I wouldn't mind Young Link if he had an original Majora's Mask moveset, but otherwise he can stay out.
