Anywho, I tried to give K.Rool more contrast, better shading, better arm and an overall better pallete:

I'm still working on some things, such as the belly pallete and it's outline.

Ahhh, much better shading. I think it's great. You should maybe sheet it, maybe make it into an expansion or something.

And I'm currently trying to work on my sheeting skills, so I don't think I'll sheet this K,Rool anytime soon (If I do sheet him). And I'm not really interested in expansions right now. My first priority now is too work on the in-game characters.

After that, I want to work on my Sly Cooper and Teensies expansions first.

As a bit of a side project I was trying to develop some skills in NES style. This 8bit-Mario is just for fun.

I am a bit confused. Where you talking about the sprites or the text when you said Copy and paste?

Because as I stated, all the sprites above the crouch are the original sprites from Super Mario Bros.

The ones above the crouch look fine. The others were custom, I'm assuming and weren't added effects like that one guy who made that Nes mario sheet. :/

Oh yes, I did those make them myself. It's not copy paste from another sheet to make a new one. I'd rather not do then. There's no honor in that.
