Ehhh, recently watched the full stream recording, a dev suggested name changes for his moves.

On the note of recovery, I swear approx. 1/3 of Bandana Deeaths are due to barely reaching the ledge from recovering

Same here. I have to say I always found it a little......"jarring" that Bandana Dee has 3 jumps. Waddle Dees don't really have any special kind of jumping ability, let alone flight unless they had some kind of assistance. I was hoping they'd give him two jumps with his U-Special SERIOUSLY buffed.

The extra jump is supposed to reflect how the supports/extra characters in the Kirby games. Or that's what I'm guessing.

Tbh I prefer him having 3 jumps, it feels more unique and it gives him more options to recover imo.

I agree with Drarky. It gives his recovery a neat gimmick, and separates him from the rest of the cast. It's arguably one of the few unique traits he has.

Hmm...I suppose that's possible...Still, something about him getting an extra jump like that in Smash (or something resembling it) just feels a little...off to me. At least in Kirby Returns to Dream Land, I'll admit he kind of NEEDED it just to keep up with Kirby, Meta Knight, and King Dedede, all of whom have some "real" method of flight. Well, technically he does have a method of flight thanks to the Spear Copter...

Don't get me wrong though, I don't mind it. In the long run, it GREATLY helps his recovery.

he needs a lot of buffs
+more nockback in up air and bair
+better recovery
+make neutral special more powerfull

Among other things, such as range on his spear. I'm sorry, but I can't help but feel like it doesn't gain the range it should have. Also, his D-Tilt (the Slide Kick) feels like it should cover a bit more distance.

A thought I had, is BD's Side-B angle-able?

If not, I hope in Beta it could be slightly angle-able by holding a direction or pressing Special button longer akin to Yoshi's Egg-Toss.

So we could pin opponents easier at point-blank or at a farther distance away

Huh, you know that's not such a bad idea. Hey guys, I'd like to ask, what stage do you all think Bandana Dee will be fought in during Classic Mode? Considering SSF2 appears to be going the Melee route here.

And if those leaks from a few years ago are real, then that Butter Building stage that was mentioned (along with Lake of Rage and an Ice Climbers stage, the former now being real)

Well, since SSF2 appears to be going the Melee route with Classic Mode, I suppose it makes sense. Also, I wanted to add in my last post that if you want, you could have counted Butter Building as well. From the looks of things, we're getting our leaked stages soon.

BTW, Mirror Chamber is still going to be called, well...Mirror Chamber. One of the devs said it on the SSC stream (I can't remember exactly which day they said it on, though) that something wonky was going on with Beta's SSC build, and it reverted the stage's name back to Rainbow Route for some odd reason.
