I feel like villager has problems with characters with reflectors Mario reflected by fsmash which makes no sense and killed me at an early percent. I feel like too many of his moves have projectile usage.

I am not blaming the character man I am just saying that they do have problems. It's not that easy to do when most of his attacks are projectiles. That's the thing that keeps villager from being an optimal character. His forward air. Side B is one of the best options for approach. While his other attacks are not. _________________

villager has a great nair and dtilt and i use them a lot when i play him, i never really seem to have trouble getting close to anyone nor do i have trouble with reflectors, i just use side tilt, nair, dtilt and dair if they're looking to mess with my projectiles
i almost NEVER throw out a bowling ball unless im edge guarding, the most optimal way to kill with villager is probably up smash or dtilt combined with up air
i mean thats just how i play villager but it works pretty well for me
