So after reading this thread I decided to watch this anime
It's actually pretty good, I like how it's mainly focused on character development instead of fighting.
But goddamn the opening song is terrible

You're missing out. .hack//SIGN started slow, but ended with tremendous force and .hack//Legend of the Twilight was much easier to understand and a bit more cute, but just as awesome.
