Doing it after a few tries is no big deal. The real issue is that I need to know EXACTLY what to do, so that I can get it right EVERY TIME. I want to be able to do this perfectly.
The way I am with the technique now, I have a 1/7 or at best 1/6 chance of getting it right when I try. I don't want to lose my stocks trying this. I think this method would be really good for confusing your opponent, I just need to have full control of it.

going under stages isn't useful at all. even wario and kirby are capable of making it to the other side to counter your "barely made it" recovery. Not to mention, in some tournaments repeatedly going under the stage is cause for automatically losing the game.

Well... To be honest... I also wanna learn it because it's really cool every time I do it But it wouldn't really be that bad to pull it out on occasion, like maybe once a match or once every few matches. Like i'm not gonna be spamming the move all the time, otherwise it will be really predictable.

I am imagining you saying that with the gif look of Sonic in your sig. Nice fine smasher Edit: To bad Sonic isn't that good because finding all these techs would have made his metagame all the more interesting. Let's see how many of these will be carried over into Beta. Also disregard a report devs if I filed one, I am on mobile.

^ Still trying to remember how considering I found it last night... It may have something with holding the jump button while charging it somehow? I'll see if I can remember how to exactly do it. Yes, yes he would. UPDATE: Ugh....Go look at the description in my video. I apologize about this, guys.....Turns out that it wasn't a tech....*facepalms*

To be fair, this is in training mode where there's no stale-move negation. It does around 34% in normal circumstances. Still pretty awesome nonetheless.

This is fishy. You can't jump under any circunstances while doing DownB with Sonic. Tails can do it if he lands with the DownB charging, but Sonic can't. And considering you made an 8 minute long video about it, I heavily doubt you forgot how to do it, at the very least the inputs.

No, no no no... How? How did you do that? There's no way to jump and do a spin dash at the same time, I tried for 5 minutes! On the bright side, I pressed random buttons while spin dashing, and now I can do the short hop spin dash! So... Thanks... ?
