Anybody have any tips on computer hunting ?


I'm thinking about getting my own laptop sometime in the next couple months but I'm not sure what I should be looking for

I have a laptop and it's a total piece of s***, as the screen broke very quickly after I got the laptop repaired, and before that, it wouldn't even boot up, and before THAT, it lagged if I had Google Chrome up with BYOND. I will find which one it was when I use it again.

Define gaming? What kind of games are you trying to play? You could be talking anything from Minesweeper to Crysis. I know most gaming laptops are actually hella expensive. For that price range you could really go for a really decent gaming desktop if you aren't really going to be moving about much.
