Competive:
- Smashville - Love the size and floating platform to assist recoveries or to escape. Not a fan of the music.
- Nintendo 3DS - The edges are a nuisance, but it's a smaller, faster, portable(?) FD!
- Yoshi Story - Not only does it look fantastic, but it feels nicely spacious compared to Battlefield.
- Dream Land - Best Doubles Stage. Spacious singles stage.
- Castle Siege (Hazards Off/On) - This has beautiful music, looks good, and is a great mix-up stage. With Hazards I think this stage even better.


Casual:
*Clock Town - I really hate that freaky Moon, but the stage is refreshing appearance-wise. I also feel you can do some very unique play on this stage.
- Peach's Castle (Hazards Off mostly) - VERY under played by many, but I've enjoyed this stage since my early Melee days.
- Central Highway (Hazards On) - The music is great and the shifting stage is enjoyable. I only wish it looped rather than staying at the last transformation and that the camera wasn't so zoomed out.
- Warioware (Hazards On) - This stage owes me a lot of buffs with how many rewards I've been cheated out. But I love minigames. :s
- Skyward Voyage - Needs a slightly longer traveling platform, at least one less walkoff and a fix on the slowdowns, but I really enjoy the visuals on this map as well as the shifting playing field.

Honorable Mentions:
~ BattleField ~ Didn't make Top 5 but how can you not like what's considered the most neutral stage? (In the US at least.)

~ Shadow Moses ~ This stage "needs" destructable walls or at least a timer on when they break down. With the walls the stage is broken and not very fun, but when the walls come down it'll be an easy favorite. (Replacing "Encounter" with "Battle in the Base" or "Yell Dead Cell" would also be nice.
