Why would you do Hypest, I thought people stopped going to those.

I'm the sole rep for SSF2 for Hypest. But I also write articles, make cool Hypest-themed stuff, and do other games as well (I'm pushing for Melty Blood for Hypest. Once that happens I'm probably done with Hypest SSF2 to focus on Melty.).

I guess this speech was a little later than I wanted. I also didn't expect it to be centered around one thing.

Firstly I want to thank those that came out and had a good time. For the most part I did the same, and it was enjoyable. I tried to go out of my way to make this the "go out with a bang" event, and that was indeed the case... in more ways that one. I also aspired to make it the best event. But I have a story to tell. Read closely.

It's X3/2015. The Salty Suite was Jammy v Sparty88 -- yeah who remembers him? But it's not about the Salty Suite which never happened. X3/2015 was the tournament debut of a scrubby a** player named MonteCristo. He got 0-4'd. Nothing fancy. Fast forward a bit: X9. Again, he gets 0-4'd, but why mention this? This is the last tournament he played in before his "suicide". Didn't seem to be much an issue. He started being problematic after he got called out for faking it. This is his Challonge userpage. Everything about X9/2015 he has attempted to rig or otherwise change in his favor.

Now for something more relevant. At The Farewell Chapter, in the middle of streaming and providing quality commentary on Grand Finals for Brawl Minus, something is brought to my attention. Set #45 on the bracket: Chaos v Monte. A dispute on who won. In all cases, Monte won the set, because they played a bo5 and while Chaos won 3-2, Monte was leading 2-1 and therefore won the set. But instead of admitting that, both of them just quarrel about and I sit there for 15 minutes trying to solve this issue. My ranting is on the stream vod now. There isn't commentary on Brawl Minus' Grands. And after the end of it all, Monte quit and flipped his s*** and I threw Chaos out for bracket manipulation. In the end, Monte is permabanned from the whole community and Chaos is banned from the tournament scene until further notice, as per the discussion from the newly-formed TO'ers Union the day after.

I guess what I said on the #XTFC thread was a lie.
