Wii is still selling like hotcakes, Nintendo big boss Satoru Iwata has revealed that they are already working on its successor. We probably won't see it hit the market until Wii sales die down though (which might not be anytime soon).

WiiHD is coming out around 2011.
Also Nintendo Don't make complete clones of the original, its called saving you money. Nintendo could have release Wii motion plus out of the box, along with DVD playback, better grpahics and all that other garbage but that would have made the Wii near 1000$, what nintendo, intellegently did was wait it out. they are waiting for prices to drop on the latest technologies so they can use it in the future.
