Jup. Thats why Sora cant kill: No KB on any of his moves besides USmash, Tipper FSmash and Fair at high% if they are fresh.

Not necessarily. An attacker and the character getting hit undergo different frame of hit lag. If Sora takes less hit lag than his opponent each hit, it means his move can end earlier relative to when they go into hitstun. This is pretty much how Fox gets his combos off of shine, his opponent takes more hit lag than he does (they start flying from the shine after he can jump cancel, meaning he has MAJOR frame advantage). The point is, Sora's moves could follow this principle as well to improve their combo ability.
All of his aerials have pretty low knock back anyways, none of them kill XD

Well upwards flowmotion to thunder is a kill combo, he has two spikes, ufcd (upwards flowcancel down) and ffcd (forward flowcancel down). And I'm not sure if ppl know this, but forward flowmotion is actually a good kill move/setup offstage. You can link two forward flowmotions that will kill, spike them with the two flowcancels I metioned after forward flowmotion, or go for a fair which will kill at higher %s and is safer.

I'm back. I feel that UFCD is more reliable than FFCD when it comes to spiking. Mainly because I can't always get it to spike with a FFCD. Also, I found by pure mistake that you can reverse FFlow on hit. It doesn't damage and it kinda useless, but it looks flashy as hell. Also, not sure if people know about this, but there's a thing called "Flowshot" where you cancel the first hit of Flowmotion into a Flowdash by hitting them with the front of the move whilst landing. It can combo, and it shoots them up, hence the name "Flowshot"

A downward flowcancelled neutral flow can drag an opponent through a platform.

There are more ways to use FlowMotion than just Standard, Back, Forward, Down, and Up. One I have found to be EXTREMELY difficult is Forward FlowMotion and then a combination of that and an Up FlowMotion. I've done it a couple times and I have no idea how I did it.

Welcome back Wooly. Also, I have an easier time doing FFCD lol, but I think UFCD is a stronger meteor smash than FFCD. I might be wrong though. And ya, the timing on the left input is weird. You'll either get NFCF, NFCB, or that flashy move you talked about. Sometimes it does no kb, other times it has the same kb as forward flowmotion which is pretty cool. I think some people know what Flowshot is too, including myself.

After you input forward for forward flowmotion, quickly input upwards to cancel it and it should look like this.

Question:
If Sora had a reliable meteor smash (e.g. DAir), would he be a bit better?
I'd say yes, because he might be able to reliably gimp opponents.

Definitely. But don't forget that IIRC UFCD is a meteor.

It is. Except it's fairly unreliable.

I've been trying to play around with Sora and yeah adding a sweet spot to his dair to make it a meteor would be really cool. Even if it's a weak meteor, I would play sora much more and would be able to finish combos. But his dair right now is pretty good at leading into a flow motion granted you read their DI. Also, does anyone think that the damage of some of Sora's moves is really funny? Like each hit if near teal air do 3% each in training mode
