eh, I wouldn't say all. There's lots of decent remakes on mobile devices like Sonic 1, 2 and CD, GTA Vice City, San Andreas and Chinatown. Not to mention a variety of fantastic indie games on the Play Store. But the only problem I have are touch controls

why would you get a "decent" remake of a sonic game when you could get the real sonic game on an emulator

I have tried out the Beta of Skullgirls Mobile and it's pretty fun. And no, it's not a port, it's a "prequel-ish" that expands the world a bit. It's yet to come out in full, though

Technically, the usage of an emulator is illegal but that's not really a legit excuse since EVERYONE uses 'em and NOBODY cares. But in my opinion, I prefer remakes on mobile devices than original games on emulators.

the itself emulator isnt illegal in the slightest its up to you to use legally obtained roms

the sonic 2 and CD mobile versions are miles better than the original versions of the games so emulating those would be pretty s*** to be honest.
my experience with phone emulators has been pretty bad. but that was like 4 years ago i don't know if they have gotten better.

I'm trying to download Sonic After the Sequel, and whenever I set the resolution and press play I can never get past the Sonic Worlds engine screen before it tells me there's a problem.
I think I extracted the .rar files with WinZip correctly... Any tips?

It literally says there's a problem. You have the option to close the game, then it says "searching for a solution and closing" or something I uninstalled it so I can't make any direct quotes, but it was somewhat accurate

I think you have to disable cutscenes.
