Yeah but I would reccomend him to play the PS1 version with the translation patch from Cless that one is the best currently translated.
The PSP remake with Narkari dungeon X is the better version but it has no translation patch other than one that was being made by some guy named Kevvsa or something.

alright for once i agree 100% with you, but you'll need a way to patch it

I left my headphones outside on accident the other day and I found them in the road and they had been hit by a car.. So I went to Best Buy to pick up a new pair of ear buds and on the drive home Game Stop was calling to me. I tried to resist with all my willpower but it didn't work. And that's the story of how I own Tales of Xillia.

It's hard to adjust back to good ol' Tales.. considering I havent played any of the titles besides Graces in over a year. But Xillia is amazing. Graphics, gameplay but not so much on characters. I only have Jude, Milla and Kevin(Alvin) Im just not connecting with any of them.

Play the PS1 version with Cless's patch.
The best version is Phantasia Narkari Dungeon X for PSP but it lacks a translation patch.

I don't mind the game, just the AI is frustrating at times.

The AI isn't frustrating it's just seems to be buggy.
I dislike the game for the fact that it has a awful sense of balance, just use Cless's Hio Tenkuu on a platform and it will last forever making it so that if anyone touches him they get a OHKO.
