You're right, math is wrong. Fix it.

No, Thai is completely right.
What you called "math" was inherently incorrect.

"Rodent" is a set of all things you can call rodents (In the words of wikipedia, rodents are characterized by two incisors in their upper and lower jaws etc etc. If you're interested, the link is http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Rodent). Rats are a subset of said set, since there is more than one type of rat (rat in itself is a genus, not a species). The subset is not equal to the set in its entirety, given that there is indeed elements of the set that is not in the subset.

What you are trying to say is like saying, apples are fruits, therefore all fruit are apples as well. That is an incorrect assumption.

I'm still trying to figure out whether you were being sarcastic or trying to be a smartass by using false math to prove your false statement.

Whichever one makes him lose the least amount of face.

Obviously nobody knows the transitive property.

To clarify what Nobody said:

Rats are a subset of Rodents.
Chipmunks are a subset of Rodents.

Do you think the transitive property would apply here?

What you wrote is like saying:
Apples = fruit
Oranges = fruit
Therefore, Apples = Oranges

Yeah.

Okay my bad, I asked the wrong question.

How do you think the transitive property should be applied here?

Cause logic is obviously the most important thing in the world!

Indeed it is. Don't try arguing with me on what I just said, because it is an opinion, and arguing over opinions is a pointless argument within itself. I realize you're probably being sarcastic in that post, but you could perhaps argue that logic is indeed the most important thing in the world, as a world without logic is technically unheard of.

Logic lets you see that getting hit by a car is probably not the most terrific idea in the world.

Without logic, you might see an apple, try to ingest it whole, and when you fail, try and repeat. Without logic, it's certainly possible that you don't come to the conclusion that you should eat when you're hungry.

Yes, yes I do, in fact. And Thai does too.
What you are doing is completely ignoring the evidence and saying irrelevant, unsupported statements such as the one I just quoted. What makes you believe that we do not know the transitive property? We have shown in our posts that we do understand the transitive property.

There are multiple steps to understanding a fact, or a theorem in this case. One of them is knowing the general gist, as you certainly have. But another step is knowing when to apply it (the theorem). This may be the most important part here, and this is where you're wrong.

It's not that the transitive property itself is incorrect. That's not true in the number system we use.
Where you became incorrect is when you said that Rats = Rodents (and likewise, when you said Chipmunks = Rodents). If you still do not see why you are wrong there, then obviously you have not been paying the slightest bit of attention to what Thai and I have been telling you in our recent posts.
---
tl; dr: You have not proven your statement at all. Instead of trying to support your position, you deny our side without giving a reason why our side is incorrect, which it isn't. You come up with these preposterous arguments and hope that some fool might come along and help you in your uphill battle destined for failure.

---
I do not see why you still press this issue. Is it because you actually believe your own argument? Do you actually believe truly that you are correct? That rodents are the same as rats, and that chipmunks are thus the same as rats?

If so, I pity you. I truly do. If you are trying to be a troll, you have ultimately failed. Trolls' arguments are supposed to make sense, and yours do not. Trolls are supposed to actually have an IQ of above 3.

As using the transitive property at the top of this page sets the stage for mathematical logic...

if you think you can understand it: show
A relation R on sets X and Y is a set of ordered pairs (x,y), where x is in X and y is in Y. (Formally, this makes R a subset of the Cartesian product XY.)

A relation is then transitive if and only if when (a,b) and (b,c) are in R, then (a,c) is in R as well.

The relation in question, for the discussion above, is the subset relation. Specifically, we have (rats,rodents) and (chipmunks, rodents) in this relation. However, unless you see (rodents,chipmunks) in it, the transitive property doesn't apply.

Unless you now wish to claim that rodents are a type of chipmunk.

EDIT: Even if transitivity were to apply, the statement still wouldn't be enough to say that rats = chipmunks. This has to be done with the equality relation, which is much more strictly defined than the subset relation.

To summarize: What has already been said, just reinforced more.

To answer the original topic question: Singing Chipmunks are retarded

tl;dr to ordered pairs.

A = B, B = C, then A = C.

Let A = Chipmunk
Let B = Rodent
Let C = Rat

Chipmunk = Rodent, true statement
Rodent = Rat. Using (reflexive? I hate properties) Same as Rat = Rodent. (to prevent people saying "lulz not all rodents r rats"), true statement.

Then I'll let ^ that poster talk to himself with his probably Wikipedia definition.

I'd love that one song... Zelda main theme for them to sing.

Why that? Because it has no f*cking voices.

The last thing you want them to do is hum.
