How to beat spammy megaman?

I really need help on this one.
How the f*ck does one beat a spammy megaman? I was online doing my casual stroll and i bump into this super friking stupid megaman who would spam bricks all days. If i got close to him,he would simply side tilt and IT WORKED! That's the stupid thing. The closest i got to beating him was 2 stocks(i play with 3) cuz i killed him once and he SD'd once. _________________ My boy's&gal's(mains):    The other boy's & gals:    |

pick a character where you can rush him down and possibly get him off stage. his recovery is easy to gimp

Pick a character with a reflector. Bricks are one of the easiest-to-reflect projectiles there is.
It worked for me in Smash 4. I got sick of Mega Man spamming... well, everything, but usually Fsmash, Metal Blade, and Crash Bomb in quick, alternating succession... so I picked up Palutena. (That was back during initial release, though. It stopped working when people began figuring out how to do other things with Mega Man, but it doesn't seem like that's an issue here.) _________________    |
