Ms. Ignianus indicated to the various empty, and not-quite-empty, jar that lay on the many shelves lining the wall, "Take your pick, child."
------------------------------------------------------------------ "It's as if all the inhabitants of the neighbourhood have been possessed" she said as her eyes remained glowing, "We mustn't hurt these people too grievously" she warned, "They might be near invisible while possessed, but as soon as we exercise the spirits, they'll feel every wound to their body"
"Our only bit of luck is that, there are no corporeal demons that we must deal with...presently"
From where they stood, they could hear glass shattering from up stairs and footsteps running towards the stairs. "Perhaps this is why Miss Rachel sent us in particular here; the most powerful of us, and the two most experienced exorcists." She hovered off of the ground, ready to deal with the approaching threat.
Meanwhile at the kitchen window, the glass flew at the postman's face, though he barely reacted, even once the pixie began to stab at his face. Blood flowed freely from the wounds, and yet it appeared that this did nothing to even hinder it. Rather the man chuckled as he made a fist, and a sudden force of energy began to squeeze Phora tightly.
"Little insect, I shall rip your tiny wings from your tiny body" he said in an abnormally deep voice as the pixie struggled to move.
-------------------------------------------------------------------------------- OOC: Slice and dice the snakes freely~
"Why, you impudent youth!" exclaimed the jinn angrily at Lloyd "I am the all powerful Abbud Al Jahzeer. You dare to raise your weapons at me. You abominations shall be purged with my might!" He snapped his fingers and suddenly a bunch of snakes appeared on the ground rapidly crawling towards the children.
------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
"WHOOOOOOOO AREEEEE YOUUUUUUU?" moaned the ghost as Johnny approached, "YOUUUUUU ARRRREEE NOTTTT SUPPOSED TO BE HEERRREEEE"

"Seems we've located our source." Logan voiced what the entire group was likely thinking.
From the look of him, they were dealing with a standard ghost, albeit a fairly powerful one. If he wasn't mistaken, that meant they would either need to burn the spirit's remains or exorcise it with iron. The former was usually preferable but, more often than not, impractical. Fortunately, the Scot was sufficiently equipped for the latter. He summoned his claymore, brandishing it alongside his targe. Despite his weapons being of ethereal origin, they shared the same properties as the genuine articles. For all intents and purposes, they were iron, which made them perfectly suitable for banishing ghosts.
Still, it was only common courtesy to give a restless spirit a fair chance to go peacefully. Logan unassumingly approached the apparition and gestured toward it with his sword.
"We could say the same!" Logan addressed the man. "Your time in this world is done, and we've come to send you on your way. Now, if you could just tell us where you were buried, we can send you to the next world. Doesn't that sound nice?"

Phora angrily writhed around in the demon's telekinetic grip. Seeing her totem struggling, Alice decided to fuse instead. After the small lightshow she waved her sharp-nailed hand towards the door. She pondered what to do while swapping the knife for a magical staff she summoned. There were probably many more outside, and each individual was probably as hard to stop as the mailman. They needed to escape before the house became crowded. "Let's not wait for one of them to set this place on fire," She said over the noise. "Both of you, move out of the house.
Daniel grabbed a small jar. "I'll see you in a few minutes." He left the magic shop and went around to the back of the store, trying to remember an old trick he used to use to catch frogs.

OOC: I'm with Kp burn the house down. Lotus was confused at why exactly Lloyd was yelling at her. "Lloyd it's not like he's a demon." As if to prove Lotus wrong the Jinn summoned a ton of snakes to the room. Lotus screamed "Gross! Get it away! Now! Now! NOW!" Lotus manifested her claws for the pure purpose of scaling the nearest wall. There were very few things in the world Lotus hated more than snakes. Dot on the other hand began to toy with one of the snakes. she would hit it on the head only to dodge it's bite. after she would get bored with one she simply bit it in half and moved to the next. Lotus, still on her perch, object to this behavior of dot's. "Dot stop! ...Don't touch it!.... Did you just put that in your MOUTH?!?" If it weren't for the danger of the Jinn, anyone (but Lotus) would have found it quite comical.

"Maybe you should try talking to it before insulting it, Lloyd. It doesn't seem interested in being killed and it doesn't seem happy with us being here." Maximilian was quickly growing tired of Lloyd's tactless approach to the situation. "You should probably put away the sword and try to figure out what it actually wants before we end up with something more dangerous than snakes." He stepped back to avoid a snake just as he was speaking of the blasted creature.

"Of course it doesn't seem interested in any of those things. It's a Jinn." Lloyd replied shortly, still smiling. "And when has talking to something like this actually work out?" He tone turned into acid. "I'm pretty sure it wants us to move out of the way so it can be free. Maybe you didn't catch that part when it screamed it as us? I'm simply speeding up this process. How about instead of whining and complaining about nothing going your way you get off your a** and you ask what it wants, but don't be surprised when it doesn't want to use its powers for the good of humanity and end world hunger." His back was turned away from Maximilian, not bothering to wait for a reply. It would just turn into an argument. His sword-staff was long enough so he could deal with the snakes without getting in their range and began slicing. He actually did have a plan, but it was just a matter of time.

Lotus upset from the others arguing decided to yell at them. "If you two don't mind. Help ME!!!" she was perfectly safe (from the snake at least) from her spot where she hung onto the wall. Her claws were out holding on to the wall as if her life depended on it. Dot on the other hand was having the time of her life. She enjoyed playing with the various reptiles despite all the yelling. She jumped around simply toying with the snakes before killing them.

Damian just shook his head as he backed away from the snakes. He was positive he had been placed in the worst group as he was not fond of any of them, save for Maximillian who he didn't care too much about. He'd never spoken to him or even interacted with him for that manner though he wasn't getting a great impression from his and Lloyd's discussion. A hiss and a cry for help snapped Damian out of his thoughts. He peered up at Lotus, then just shrugged it off, focusing on the snakes. Before making any offensive moves, he created space, kicking away those that were too close. When he felt comfortable, he raised his hand to fire a lighting bolt only to realize that would not be very effective here, he may just end up electrocuting everybody or one snake at a time. Instead, he took his axe in his hands, raising it, then bringing it down on several snakes at a time. He immediately repeated, starting to leave sliced up bits of snake around the room.

"YOOOOUUUU SHOULDDDD NOTTTT BEEEEE HEERREEEEEE!!" moaned the spirit in reply, echoing what he had said moments before. It turned its attention to Logan, glowing eye sockets where the eyes typically would have been, and an even louder sound amongst the rumbling junk clutter around them could be heard. A giant magnet overhead, grated in their direction, heading directly towards Logan.
"GOOOO AWWWAAYYYYYYY" moaned the ghost.
"Everyone! Your weapons!" exclaimed Li, hoping that he was not too late.
------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- OOC: This is a test run for Idelia, if she passes this, she will be in the next chapter.
Evelyn did not wait for Alice to repeat herself and flew out the door, blasting it open with her wisps. She could already sense the demons amassing outside of the house, so she immediately fired blasts at those closest to the door.
What she saw did not make her feel any better. The sky was dark, and a storm seemed to be brewing; this she found particularly odd, as it was nearly winter and a snowstorm seemed much more likely than the presently brewing thunderstorm. It was unnatural, and the energies flowing through it were quite hellish, if she could describe it in any particular way.
The demons who had been directly in front of the door, retreated, as they were hit with the energy wisps, but they did not seem afraid. Rather, they were laughing, it was an eerie collective laughing that chilled Evelyn greatly.
"Evelyn!" exclaimed a familiar voice, the wind seeming to grow stronger, though mixed with a different aura than that she sensed previously "Alice! Tsubaki! We must subdue and then we must exorcise!" Miss Rachel, Father Albright, Dom, and a girl that only Alice knew as Idelia (the girl foretold to have the phoenix totem by her mentor) came up from behind the girl within the house. Apparently, they were the ones whom they had heard on the roof, breaking into the house from upstairs.
"We do not have much time for pleasantries, this is Idelia, " spoke Miss Rachel quickly "The entire neighbourhood has been infested, and it is up to us to free them. Do not be afraid to harm them, but do not kill them. We have until Dawn."
-----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
As Daniel exited the Mystorium, he felt a shiver run up and down his spine. It was almost as if he knew he were being watched. The back of the Mystorium actually revealed much more property than he had anticipated. It seemed the store backed onto a swamp, and beyond that was forest and even more forest. Nevertheless, he had a task to finish. He went to the edge of the swamp, and used his clever little trick to capture the frogs, who stupidly fell for it every time.
Next were the fireflies, they were a bit more difficult, but he found that like any other fly, it was quite easy to catch them with honey, as the saying goes at least.
-------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
As Maximilian and Lloyd fought amongst themselves, Abbud continued on his way, exiting the s**** and finding himself in the main lobby of the concert hall. Rather than leave however, Abbud decided to enter the auditorium, and stood on the stage, looking at the empty seats before him.
Meanwhile, the summoned snakes appeared to be quite disposable. As Dot clawed and bit the various vipers, they exploded in a shower of sparkles and smoke, fizzling away into nothing. Likewise, as Damian cleaved at the snakes with his axe, he found that they were actually a lot easier to defeat than he had originally imagined.

Grayson, who's presence slipped by everyone as their attention was drawn to the argument (both were at fault), followed Abbud as he left. Catching up to him he hovered in the air and spoke. "You didn't take advantage of them while they were fighting. And you didn't leave the building." The griffin said, taking caution, He didn't like when Lloyd got like that, but was Maximilian right? Was just talking the answer? If so, why did Abbud summon snakes to destroy them even if Lloyd taunted him? Plus there was still the whole 'demon children' thing from the beginning, which is why Lloyd had insulted it. Why do these humans never see things clearly? "Why?"
"Now look at what you've done!" Lloyd snapped angrily at Maximilian over his shoulder. "He got away because of your nonsensical attitude!" Though he'd seen Grayson follow him, taking a different approach. He was right: he'd bumped heads with the Naturae. He followed Abbud and Grayson, ever so covertly so his presence wouldn't be known.

Alice laughed girlishly. "We'll be fighting 'till dawn? I think I can finish them off in a few hours. I'm surprised you came to help. Usually you just throw us to the dogs and do office paperwork." She scanned what was in front of her. There were possessed people everywhere, and the brewing storm gave the neighborhood an appropriately dark atmosphere. Taking flight, She decided to jump into the middle of things. "Phora! Get ready! That pack of demons is ours!" She landed in the midst of a large group of the things. Spinning her staff, She checked one in the solar plexus and swung it backwards to hit another one, then kicked another in the face as it lunged for her. Lashing out with her free hand she clawed one more in the face and took out yet another with a kick in the groin. She lifted the staff in the air and brought it down onto the street, and a tempest began to spin around her as she cast a powerful wind spell.
Daniel proudly examined his jar full of swamp creatures, ignoring the strange feeling in the air. It took perhaps five minutes to gather them all. Briefly he wondered what sorts of creatures he'd have to hunt down to prepare higher-level spells. What sort of effect would these ones have? "I guess I'll find out now," He said to himself as he headed back to Ms. Ignianus.

"Idiot..." Maximilian mumbled as he watched Lloyd follow after the Jinn. Lloyd was too hasty and was completely missing the point he was trying to get across. The Jinn might have foul intentions, but it was brought to freedom by one who seemed to only want to protect himself from something frightening.
"Hey you." Maximilian called out to the man that had been left behind by the Jinn he had summoned the subsequently freed. "What are you running from. What is that you want that creature to protect you from.." Maximilian stepped forward as he spoke and he did so carefully as to avoid what was left of the snakes. "What did it promise you in exchange for its freedom?"

After going at each other with words, the newcomer, Lloyd or something other had went off after the man who summoned the snakes. Meanwhile, the never ceasing to be odd Lotus cowered from fragile snakes while her beast played with them. Damian found himself very conflicted on who to aid here, leaving him a stammering mess, looking back and forth. He figured Max was making more sense to him than Lloyd and Lloyd didn't seem to be a rookie. He didn't even consider helping Lotus as he turned to Max. She should be fine. With no words, he leisurely strolled over next to him, hacking and kicking at any snakes that got too close. He came to a halt next to him, holding his axe at his side and just listening in.

Idelia glared at Alice. She hadn't seen Alice since her first year at Arclight, the one where they had the unfortunate chance to end up together in this lame club. Idelia had a general dislike for people like Alice. They were just to stuck up in most cases. Idelia shook those thoughts aside when she heard her name. Mrs. Killjoy had introduced her, in a rather boring and quick manner at that. Idelia finally spoke "It's about time I get some real company. I'm tired of hanging with the old fart and killjoy over here." She looked at the adults, " You may decide who is who. Oh! And by the way it's Id." She said as she stared at the adults with a devilish grin. She watched, the ever so reckless, Alice as she went about wounding the demons. "Whelp. Alice is finally succumbing to the weakness that is Phora." Idelia weighed the various options she had to deal with the newly arrived opponents. Id had to make a hasty decision when a sickly being grabbed her. She hastily kicked its shin. Id flipped around. "Ad amra" A sleek flask with an ironic cross appeared in Id's hand. After a quick swig Idelia whipped out her lighter. She blew a mist of alcohol into the air. Once she did she held her lighter to the mist igniting it and sending a ball of raging, furious fire towards the poor soul. The demon quickly exploded into glorious flame. Idelia stood and watched the creature burn. "The fire dances so beautifully over your softened flesh". Id spoke to the burning demon as he collapsed. She stood over the body watching the free flame spread over it and moving to the ground. The sparks flew around Idelia. She began she chuckle at the gorgeous fire. Idelia's love for flames was now reignited. She grabbed her flask again. She quickly began to make a trail for the flame to skip across leading it to a yard. Where it could feast on grass and wood. All the while filling the neighborhood with sickening laughter. She left the burning demon to its fate.
Lotus slowly climbed down as Dot finished the snakes. Lotus slowly walked over to the still bickering crew. After listening to the argument for a couple of seconds she nudged Damian. "We should probably try and stop the thingy." Lotus whispered pointing to the door.

The jinn looked at the griffin, and crossed his arms with a pensive expression.
"Noble griffin," spoke Abbud calmly "It has been many moons since I have seen your kin, and so, I shall answer your question." He uncrossed his arms and sat down in the air as if he were sitting in a chair casually, floating off of the ground with ease, "Your companions see things which they should not be able to; a mere child was able to unravel my spells accidentally," a file suddenly appeared in his hand with a puff of smoke and he began to file his nails idly, "I have heard of seers, but I have never known them to be so young, or so powerful. I knew that if I wanted to be successful in my endeavours I needed to stop them here, but I do prefer a stage." Just as he said that, Abbud's eyes glowed green and he loosed a powerful energy beam from them directly towards Lloyd.
-------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
The young man looked at Maximilian, Lotus and Damian, his eyes were red with exhaustion and perspiration dripped down his face. He twitched nervously with every sound made around him, and hugged himself tightly. These kids looked young, but clearly they had some sort of magic; how else would they have been able to find him?
"A-All I wanted was a break" he finally broke down, "Whenever I auditioned they gave me the smallest parts" he sobbed "And so, one day" he was having trouble speaking "This man, he said he could make me a good actor...it seemed crazy...you can't give up your soul, right? He came back a few weeks ago asking for his return, I had security get rid of him...he was crazy, but then...things started happening...I overheard that crazy lady talking about a genie in a kettle. I'm in some deep s*** man. It's all real, isn't it? I'm going to die. Oh my god. I'm going to die" he collapsed to the ground sobbing.
------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- OOC: Incoming heavy post
As Daniel walked back into the shop, he found Ms. Ignianus stirring the pot vigorously, "I'll have to take over, time is of the essence, now stir the pot and watch what I do" she said while handing Daniel the metal rod that she had been using to boil the brown liquid.
"Witchcraft, is its own realm of magic because we do not rely on fancy spells or otherworldly powers," she said as she emptied the jar of frogs, and quickly dissected it like a pro, throwing various body parts into other jars though leaving the legs on the table, "You see, witchcraft relies on the ambient energy found in nature"
Leopold scuttled out from under the cauldron and quickly made his way to the bench, where Ms. Ignianus worked, there was a sudden disgusting smell of something being burned, and then Leopold quickly skittered back to his cauldron without saying a word. The old hag then threw in a bunch of what looked like burned frog legs into the pot, "Similarly to true names, all things have an inherent energy that can be used for various things, which is why I have all these jars"
Again her hand moved like lightning as she dissected the fireflies and promptly threw their abdomens into the pot. The colour of the liquid suddenly turned a deep orange. "Of course, the uptight Magi do not take too kindly to our work because we're not afraid of death,"
She ran to her back wall and filled her arms with various jars and made her way to the cauldron "You see, what they do not understand is that witchcraft is not about violating life, rather it is about respecting nature and working with it."
She took what looked like an eyeball from one of the jars and plopped it into the cauldron, a plume of red smoke erupted from the cauldron as it turned a deep red before returning to its previous orange colour. "We are more natural than even the most green of the green magi, we do not call upon otherworldly to forces to work for us, we work with magic to make things happen."
Ms. Ignianus opened the last jar carefully, Daniel could hear what sounded like a gentle breeze blowing coming from a jar, and if he listened even harder, he could hear what sounded like someone speaking in a foreign language. Ms. Ignianus poured it into the pot and then promptly shut the jar. The cauldron began to bubble profusely, and Daniel thought he could hear the rolling of thunder as each bubble popped.
"Alright boy!" exclaimed Ms. Ignianus while stamping her feet and her staff onto the ground at the same time. "Put some in the travel cauldron," she said while indicating to a small kitchen pot "We've got places to go" She pointed her staff at the door, and Daniel definitely heard a collective rushing whispering wind blow through the room from somewhere up in the ceiling, and the door opened with a slam.
--------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Miss Rachel didn't have the typical patience to laugh at Alice's snide remark, as soon as she had said what she needed to say, she and Father Albright had run down the street. The demons seemed to separate before them as they ran forward, while the priest flashed lobbed bombs of holy oil into the crowds, that burst into flame releasing horrid screams.
The wind buffeted many of the demons, partly due to Alice's spell, though also because Dom directed a powerful gust of wind around Alice aiding in her spell. While he wasn't exactly sure what she was doing, he felt like it made sense for him to help, seeing as he was a Wind Naturae after all.
-----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
The demon screamed profusely as they were burned by Idelia's holy fires collapsing on the ground as it wreathed about. Interestingly, the eyes of the demon flickered violent, and a black smoke began to trickle out of its nose, as if something was trying to get out, but could not. Demons who had not seen what Idelia had done rapidly made their way towards the girl hissing and jumping from rooftops, until a sizeable group of six stood around the girl.
-------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Evelyn could see the burning carnage below as she flew above the neighbourhood. She could sense that the entire perimeter had been covered by some sort of distortion field that served a similar function as The Veil did, though what would they do about the damage to all of the buildings? She shook her head in disbelief; all of this for one measly secretary? Clearly there was something that they were missing, something that Ms. Sullivan was involved in. She felt like they were missing the big picture, nevertheless, she knew that these people would have to be subdued first.
Flying straight for the ground, Evelyn loosed a series of energy wisps before her as she spun her glaive above her head and spinning it once before her as the demons lunged at her. Her eyes glowing, she worked on disabling as many of the demons around her as she could.
