from analyzing information stored from test matches and also from personal experience, it seems the few reports of extra input lag are placebo. we did an internal test where we tried reducing the input lag from the 3 frames that it's been since release down to 2 frames, but it was only allowing most matches to run at 50%-75% speed, which isn't acceptable.
