You still haven't explained what the purpose of this topic is...

Solutions:

1) Don't post your sprite to MG, even if you feel like showing off.
2) Put a huge watermark on anything you create, so a potential thief has a harder time stealing it.

I mean ssf2 sprites I could care less if people use my sprites... Unless they say they made 'em then there's going to be a problem...

Seriously It's not their job either instead of reporting it to them we can post it in the Theft topic and the ones they feel are bad or whatever they can deal with...

How would you like getting useless PM's all the time... Some of them are Dev also you know...

Again, the mods and admins are here to help us when we have a problem. The report button exists for a reason.

Your logic is faulty as well; you say that reporting problems w/report button wastes the mods/admins' time, yet you suggest a topic that mods/admins will still have to "waste time", look for, and read.

OR they could check the Theft topic cause we don't know if they have given permission or what...

Just tellin' it like it is. Solution one was essentially deletion of the Spriter's corner.

If they really cared, they would never check because they want the sprites.

THANK YOU! You guys need to realize that It gets annoying having buncha PMs thrown atchu... The Admins & Mods are not here to deal with YOUR problems. They are here to keep things up and running. PLUS some are devs if not all.. (Haven't checked in awhile...) and that makes it even harder.

Seriously why are you so against something that will only help reduce SSF2 Sprite Theft...

Seriously it's not like this is Changing MG forever or something and since you guys hate change so much we might as well message ZI saying we don't want his new skin for the site.

None of us hate change, we just think this idea is unnecessary.

Okay let's say you work a month on a project, someone takes it, & you don't find out. Do you just expect someone to do it for you and PM it to you?

Or you could go look in the theft topic to see if anyone has reported a sprite stolen. That way the owner could deal with it instead of a mod who probably couldn't care less cause they didn't make it.

And not all people who steal sprites are part of MG you no...

Yes, but this example relies on the fact that someone finds out about it.

Not everyone here surfs the internet looking at forums full of sprites.
It's a good idea in theory, but it's near impossible to apply it due to the sheer amount of sprites on the internet.
