Kiki, salvageable means that the writer understands what is wrong with his character and is willing to fix it.

That explains everything. I personally had my parrot turn my "Uctions" into dog kibble that fired lightning at plant dragons, but to each his own. You're character probably never had a plant dragon infestation in their psudo-space desert dimension.
