Rana watched the group, swaying back and forth like a little tree. His eyes glowed weakly under his hood, but they were glazed over, as if he was looking past everything. To him the others were blurs, simple and complex pictures that shimmered and changed. Tekun, the death-ridden one. Eton was the thief. Tania was like a dinner table with no one there, or a mirror glass with no reflection.
Rana had decided to stay. His disturbed actions had been confusing him; but at that time he hadn't interacted with other people for more than a year and a half, and he was still young then. That was a long time. Rana took slow, careful steps to the group and stood silently, observing.

"..." she didn't want to admit she had been hungry this whole time, even if he already knew. She'd reach and take the piece of meat at its edges. "You have my thanks" she would state calmly in appreciation before hungrily sinking her teeth into the grilled tenderized flesh, tearing off a clear chunk and abruptly chewing it. Savoring every last morsel of the meat upon her tongue. Sitting herself down, she would continue her fierce and awkward eating habit in relative silence, getting lost in her own little word, almost forgetting she had compatriots here to begin with; she cared not for what others might think of this, for she didn't even realize its distinctive oddness to the manners of others. For her, this was simply how it went.

Serene felt better right away as Eton applied the medicine. She looked up and smile dot him again. "Thanks, this should help me a lot." she told him. "Oh, and shouldn't we get going soon? If we want to reach a town soon." She looekd for Black King, she wanted to prep him for the journey coming up ahead.

Eton nodded.

"Glad to hear it. Anyway, we'll be ready soon. Start getting around." He said and got back up. With in the hour the group was leaving, heading off, further down the valley and into a more mountainous area, in the distance was what appeared to be a town. One unlit, with no activity visable from it. As they approached, Tekun's behavior began to change, becoming more quiet, bothered by it.

Serene saw that the town had no lights on in it at all. She wasn't getting a good vibe from it at all. "I don't think it's a good idea for us to stop there..." she muttered, staring at it. "It doesn't seem like a good idea to try that at all.

Black King noticed this as well, and pulled back, stopping in the air.

Gabriel
A cool breeze fluttered Gabriel's robe. He scratched his chin and stared at the dead body lying down next to him, then looked up at the wall in the alleyway.
"Want to dance for a while?"
"We're bored of dancing."
"But it's fun!"
"I like dancing. But we're bored of it."
"But Lucifer..."
"But Gabriel..."
"Nobody is here. He dead, see?" Gabriel poked the dead man. "He's a little stinky. Like the gutter man."
"We used to have fun, but everyone is already dead here!"
"Want to leave here?"
"Snie."
"Want to dance for a while?"

Eton stopped besides Black king and looked at the town. From here it looked ordinary, but had a strange lack of life to it. Perhaps it was abandoned.

"Might be worth a shot going to." He said to Serene. "Who know's, it might turn out alright."

Tekun didn't say a word and inched closer to Tara, he wanted comfort, he was nervous, scared and worried. He didn't want to be here, near the place. It brought back bad memories.

As Barbas approached the Dragon Fang town, only several yards, there was a clear sign things were wrong. The gate was half opened and there were claw marks on it. Four guards lie dead on the ground. One hunched over against the wall. Wall lieing on his side on the ground, the other decapitated, his head missing entirely and body lieing on it's stomach. The other lay flat on his back, a sword through his stomach. Eyes, glazed over. A trail of blood, leading into the village. Sounds of fighting, and silence. There was the sound of something growling, a scream, and clashing. Things clearly were not right.

Barbas knelt down to inspect the individual bodies. Each time, nodding his head, as if to take a mental note. He reached for his bow, readying an arrow. Something was in there. He didn't feel the need to rush in, and decided to go back, looking for a rock to get on in order to aim down upon whatever came out. (Or a tree, something of the like Perhaps even behind a rock.)

Rana
Rana looked onto the town with confusion. It was a settlement. There should have been life.
"This place is dead." He whispered softly. "This place is dead." He said to Eton. The only thing he could see was a beast in the middle of a road, whining and doing what beasts do. It was a strange creature, almost like a human, but... bizarre, and warped.

Gabriel
"I'm hungry."
"We ate an hour ago."
"That was moldy hands, not food."
"We don't want to leave..."
"Yes I do. I want to find food."
"We could find food in the hut over there." The pretend man pointed.
"That hut only has lances. I want to leave." Gabriel stood.
"But Gabriel..."
"Why can't I leave?"
"We can't leave."
"Fine." Gabriel sat down hard and tossed a rock through Lucifer's head.

"Are you sure you want to land down there?" asked Tania feeling slightly worried, the place hardly looked hospitable. Would they even be able to find food there? She shivered hoping that their luck had finally changed for a chance and that everyone decided to go to the beach. Windy felt all the fear and she began to sway her head nervously. Tania patted her neck hoping to calm her down a bit. "Don't worry, we'll protect each other, and besides I need to get a lance" she shivered "I never took back the lance that impaled Odinas" she said sadly.

Nechis glanced his eyes over the town. "It is rather ominous..." he said, agreeing with the others. "But, my supplies are running thin, and I believe it would be a good idea to check the place out." he stated. Suddenly, an old memory came to him of a burning village, a familiar memory. Families getting killed, a group committing it all. And in the center of that group, he himself had stood, looking over what they had done, an insane smile on his face. He quickly dismissed the thought. His eyes glazed over as he was lost in the unpleasant memory. "No, never again." he muttered to himself, and hoped that they encountered no one in the town.

She'd finish off the last of the meat with a gnashing tear at the remnants of flesh. licking around her lips and throwing down the ragged bone onto the soil floor before heading off with the group. About an hour or so later of travel, the group had noticed a village of some sort, some had a bad feeling about it, however, Tara herself did not seem to be bothered much by it. She had noticed Tekun having moved closer, head turning towards him. "Something the matta tekun?" she asked; still satisfied even an hour past her nice long rest and a full stomach of tender meat.

Barbas hopped down from atop the rock, noticing that nothing was coming out anytime soon. He had his bow ready still, as he took a step into the village, mind racing. What could be in there? What could have caused this? He was not sure, but he was ready still.



Charisma nodded as she sat atop the horse. "Ready." She spoke, looking down to the ground. The two went off soon after. "How much further is Dragon Fang?" She asked, she still didn't feel right about going, but she knew there was no other choice. Especially since they were already on their way.
