Name
Warau
How old are you?:
20
Which characters do you play in SSF2? Why do you play these characters?
Link - zone control, variety of projectiles, good melee and a well balanced overall fighter.
Marth - Above average mobility, good melee skill set, very good combo setups.
Wario - Late game pressure, attack priority, very good chomp(grab)... WAFT!
Zelda - Aimable circle thing, very hard hitter, easy to hit sweet spots, solid defensive character, if situation calls for it, you can switch to Sheik
How much experience do you have with official Smash titles?
I've played Melee and Project M for about 3 months and played Smash64 as a child before picking up SSF2.
Mained Link, Pit, and Marth. But played Link 80% of the time.
Have you ever attended any Smash tournaments? If so, give some details about the tournament.
Sad to say that there aren't any Smash tournaments here in the Philippines. But I often watch tournament videos and study what pro players do.
When did you start playing SSF2?
3 months ago. 0.9A
Got bored of playing Project M alone so when I heard of SSF2, didn't think twice and played SSF2 instead for a change of pace and got me hyped when I heard online mode was in the works.
Needless to say, I haven't played Project M since.
What is your favorite stage in SSF2? Explain.
BattleField - it has a perfect balance of platforms and ground space. My playstyle works perfectly in BattleField since I can easily control at least 2 platforms with most of my mains.
Who, in your opinion, should be placed first on the SSF2 tier list?
Ichigo - If played properly, his invulnerability/high priority frames would make him unhittable. Can't beat what you can't touch. Making him a very solid counter/camp character.
Who, in your opinion, should be placed last on the SSF2 tier list?
Mario - in my opinion, Mario isn't that bad as a character, his skill set just isn't enough to stand up against hard hitting characters like Donkey Kong and also projectile spammers like Link and Samus.
If you could make only one change to SSF2 as it currently is, what would it be and why?
If it were up to me, I would add wavedashing in. As a Melee and Project M player, I feel the game is a bit on the slow side without them. Though I am aware that SSF2 is following Brawl's format and by adding wavedash, dodge would also have to be changed.
What is your view on items in competitive play?
I am completely against the idea of using items in competitive play. Playing with items changes the whole match into a catch and throw game which isn't really fun for me.
Do you have or can you download Skype? You don't need a mic or webcam.
I don't have one but if necessary, I would make an account.
Why do you want to join the Smash Flash Back Room? What will you contribute? Why are you an exceptional applicant? Be as detailed as possible.
Information that I've gathered and compiled will be posted in the thread and will be discussed intellectually and without bias. I thoroughly analyze what needs to be added, what needs to be scrapped and what needs to be left as is.
