Bishamon looked around once more. "Did Vertis and Verin come by and take anything?" He asked. "And how is getting Belthazar free going?"

"I don't think they touched anything they came here for a second then left but we caught Belthazar...he got his memory back" She still didn't know why the mind thing worked, but was baffled at the power of the spell. "But we had to let him go because Sho was getting weaker with all the use of his energy in keeping him here and Belthazar had to visit some sort of witch."

Sho looked up to Ali. "I'm not as young as I used to be. Magic takes its toll on me, far more than swordplay."

Sho continued to rest, breathing heavily as he catch his breath.

Bishamon looked down at Sho. "Do you need help?" He asked the old man, leaning down. He ignored everything else going on at that moment, concentrating on Sho. "Don't let my body fool you, I'm actually quite old, much like yourself."

"I'm quite old." Sho laughed. "About 250 somethiiiiiiiing, maybe more." He began to chuckle and then caugh. "I neeeeed a few moments."

Bishamon's eyes widened. "And... You're human?" He was surprised, in all his years, he hadn't known any human to live that long. "You're... You're as old as me!"

Sho continued to laugh. Yeeeeees, I am actually." Sho stopped. "Iiiiiiiii find it funny....I agggggeeeee so slowly, hoooow I do not know....buuuut heeere I am. Aliiive yet, in all these years I still continue to learn."

"You can't be full human... Are you sure your parents didn't have something magical to them? Or at least one." He asked Sho. "I mean, really, there is no way a human can age so slowly... Well, perhaps on the outside... But inside, you'd be shutting down a long time ago..."

"Both....my mother and father...were human....however, the area....Iiiiiiiiiiiiiiii grew up in was unusual....strong maaaaagical prescence. I always wondered if it ever had an effect on my heaaaaaalth." He said. "I never did knoooow for sure, and don't question it."

"That's got to be it." Said Bishamon with a nod, as if he was agreeing with himself. "Well, anyway... I have no idea where that damn key is." He sighed, letting his head hang down. "There has to be another way to open it... I've tried everything I know tho.. Sho, do you have any ideas?"

"Ooooooonnne idea would beeee to try harder." Sho said getting up and cracking his back.

Ali sat cross-legged on the ground while the two old coots got to know each other. She found the conversation rather boring and she placed her head onto her hands staring into the clear sky wondering about things. Wondering whether Juniper and Gar would ever rejoin them on the ground, wondering what will happen to Belthazar while he's away, wondering if they'll ever find the stupid key for the book, wondering if they'll be able to defeat Deumos..or whatever her name is.... She sighed and returned her attention to the old men "Maybe you could find the creator of this mind connection spell and see if they have a breaking lock spell as well..." she said idly "Cause whoever made the mind connection spell must be very powerful if we can still connect even when Belthazar is pretty much under thr mind control of the Duemos"

"That would be a rather good idea." Bishamon said, turning to Ali. "However, he's long gone. And he was the one that made the lock." Bishamon scratched his cheek, deep in thought. "There is something... A spell.. It contacts the dead..." He thought more, thinking of the things needed for the spell. "But.. I'm not so sure if he'd tell either way. That key was hidden well. He swore to never speak of it, no matter the stakes."

"We should still try" said Ali determinedly, she stood up and dust the dirt that had collected on her hands off "If the only thing that can defeat Deumos is within the spell book we have no other choice...It's not like there's any other way to open the book" She then paused for a second tapping her finger on her chin in thought and the returned her gaze to Bishamon "Is there?" she asked with a slight tremor of hope in her voice.
