Alright so here we go: 73 items shown (!!!!!!), which is huge, so I wonder if it might be the final item set? Here's the list:
Items: show If that's the final list, then the following Brawl items are currently awol: Fan, Party Ball, Cracker Launcher, Dragoon. It seems odd to think they would remove some of those, but I can absolutely get behind cutting the Dragoon. Still, holy f*** 73 items. I hope the new ones are fun. Hey, here's a question.
In the Charizard/Greninja trailer, all those Pokemon we saw coming out of Pokeballs: you think they're all gonna be in Fracas as Pokeball Pokemon? Because I saw some Pokemon that weren't mentioned before, including Snivy, Oshawott, Spewpa, Inkay, Swirlix, Darkrai, and Zoroark. _________________

I think so. I honestly think the final attendance from playable Pokemon will be Pikachu, Jiggs, Greninja, and Lucario. If they can nail it with a Grass-type starter that would be great. The S-Flag is an item from the Namco maze/driving arcade game Rally X. and the turret bears a resemblance to the Beamos towers that are seen in most of the Zelda games. _________________ What is this? |

We've got them both identified already pal
Also, after combing through the Direct again I found the Maxim Tomato. Yay. Still no sign of those other items just yet, but at least some of them are probably in the game. |

With all the jokes the developers are making about some characters, (fierce rivalry between Mario and Charizard, Link-Zelda-Peach love triangle, everyone except Mario gets to ride Yoshi) do you think we'll see some character interaction like this in the game?

All of the pokemon in the melee opening weren't used as pokeball pokemon, so I doubt it. But time will tell I suppose. |

I've combed that Flickr gallery for any signs of Konami, seeing as all other third partiers got their own items and such.

I believe the screens were released by nintendo, so I don't think there's any reason to think they would show an item related to a character who isn't shown. On top of that, I don't believe metal gear even had an item in brawl. This is in no way a deconfirmation. |
