With Ike, you have to be unpredictable with his smashes, since they are so slow. In fact if you are good enough, you wont even need them, the only smashes i use are Up and Down (up since you can slide abit out of a dash, and down cuz its his fastest smash).

Yeah, I get what you're saying. Whenever I get the chance to play actual human players (can't play online 'cause no Wi-Fi), I'm sure that what you told me will be useful.

Remember the very useful Back Air, Ike's is very good for scoring KOs, and its his fastest attack (startup wise)

I know the B-Air, since I use it to gain most of my KO's. I'll make sure to use that whenever possible too, thanks for telling me.

True, I don't like his KO potential either, but I still manage to KO regardless. Yeah, he can be punished too, so that's why I'm careful when I'm off-stage with him. One wrong move and it's the opponents' KO.

Yeah I just discovered how Toon Link and Marth can be good, but they're not my mains. My mains are:
In order, with #1 being the best.
1) Lucario
2) Mario
3) Kirby

Well pretty soon I'm gonna post a video of me using Lucario in a battle. Watching that might help you out. And it's kinda funny since I'm trying to make characters with swords some of my mains. So far no luck, except for maybe Toon Link.

Link's special moves are great in my opinion, and the bomb is easy to abuse.

Yes. If you use D-Special, you'll go into a stance. If you're attacked while in that stance, you'll counter-attack with a powerful blow. Useful in some cases.
