Why of all things did I check the RP section?
Because I really care about this place. It was something that helped me mature as a writer and unlock my creative abilities.
No matter what anyone says, it's not some nerd s***, nor is it lame. It is a viable way to use your creative processes and interact through a story.

Matter of fact, I believe that I'm one of the major reasons the RP section even MADE it into the golden age.
Hell, I can't count how many times people told me that they wanted to join DoL, but felt they were not good enough to do so (which is funny, because if you read it, the entire thing was mostly 1-3 liners.)

There are a few RPs that really advanced this section into the Golden Age in my opinion:
Gantz, War of the Black Flames, The Sandbox (old one, not the crappy new one), and Darkness of Light.

I'm perhaps one of the most important roleplayers here, contributing how many RPs and RP proposals?

Face it, Whimmy, the reason why so many Rp's fail is because they just aren't that damn important. Even if you had never "contributed" anything, this whole section probably would've lasted only about a week longer.

I didn't know much of Soren140, I haven't seen the guy around.

A dozen RP's that had enough potential to start but then you just went "I have more important s*** to do" and you cancel it.

That and barely anyone joined them, which is what he said.

I have exams fyi. It usually gets me in the mood for writing. Maybe I might finish Pirats and Ploines finally.

I don't give a s*** about roleplaying here anymore, I lost faith a long time ago. I've only recently, in the past two or three months, picked up forms of writing again anywhere on the internet; and until something rouses my interest, my writing will likely be kept to other places.

Besides, I'm terrible, and the only reason I am considered otherwise and ever have been is that it is above the average of these forums. That isn't saying much. I have been improving steadily over the years, and as I look back at my previous trash that's all I see. Garbage.

Well after writing that long topic with everyone in it I've realized how much I miss RPing here. Anyone got any ideas? Every golden age must come to an end, but that doesn't mean that there will no be a renaissance. Let's do it RP vets!!!
