I do recall Kylos saying he didn't really main Fox anymore, so you may be correct. It's pretty unclear who Kylos mains (Last I heard Link was one of his mains iirc). And yes, Doof mains MK and Kirby now and the same with Miracle--7 with Goku.

Guys, please do what Mr. Z and Nstinct did and debate whether or not a player should be on the list (character they play or skill related). I'll list people as they come for the moment, but I want to keep out the clutter of numerous names and obvious skill gaps between players on a list. I need more than one person to agree whether or not another player should be looked at as a standard of excellence for the character, preferably multiple people to agree.

Many people in the community use me as a baseline for who is good or not. So basically all you have to do is figure out if they are better than me and you're done.

Auraka should be under pika too. Never heard of 135 playing pika (or the game at all for that matter)

I dont doubt their skill as players but I've never seen Doof or M7 play kirby or goku respectively. I secondary kirby and mine may be better as I picked him up a while ago, but I have nobody to vouch for me except lunary and maybe SS since I havent played many people with him.

Lastly Proto is good but 80% inactive and I dont think he should be listed

If we want this list to be a good resource for learning it should be accurate

Zalo is obviously the only notable Zelda main , I thought my Zelda was pretty good but I guess I'll just have to try harder.

I haven't seen Appley's ness for myself, but I have seen footage, and that was enough to convince me that his ness is one of the better ones out there. That's why I chose to list him.

Doof's Kirby is no pushover either, possibly the best one i've seen out of all kirbys (even though he too, recently picked him up).

Miracle--7 May be the only active Goku main out there (Proto does come on from time to time), and he also does amazing things with the character too.

And I heard many things about Zalo's kirby, both positive and negative, So I question if we should list him under Kirby (Although he does need to listed with Mario.

Most of these players do you do have to play for yourself if you want to see if they're worthy enough to be listed in this list. I faced Majority of everyone so my thoughts are set in stone.

I'd agree with Jammy that ProtonicShadow really isn't all that active and I'd add Sot6p and Drarky to the same boat. I edited my list a couple times shortly after posting it, but I probably shouldn't have put in 135 as I'm not "certain" that his main. I played his Pikachu in quite a few matches a week or so ago and he has a good grasp on the combos plus his gimps are really on point (is that because that's his main, or simply being a dev testing things out and knowing all. idk)

"I" haven't played Scum in months, but I've heard recently that his Naruto is really good. Appley does have a good Ness but it "might" need a little more fine tuning before being considered one of the best (although honestly the competition is pretty slim..) He does well in the ditto but I don't know his progress with other players and their characters.

ps. SoldierSunday do keep it mind it's "mains" and the OP said realistically there shouldn't be a name listed more than twice. But I'd still say your Marth and Falcon are top notch.

Also shoutouts to Shine, he's a solid defensive Zelda. We've played much more Doubles than singles (3 games?) so I can't make the call. But I will say he made it to Grand Finals on the winners side of the first Team Tournament with Zelda so uh, that's not a detail you just iron over.

There are a lot of good Foxes and Marths, but I think DS is the best choice for both, and SS should definitely be in the Fox category. I've never seen Kylos play Marth, but knight or SS may be a better choice for that spot.

Lloyd is a secondary of mine. So he doesn't count as my main.
