I'm at my wits end! Half of the time i try to import perfectly good animations into flash, this happens!

UUUGH! It irritates me so badly! What am I doing wrong?! I drag the animation into the library, and the gif MC, the bitmap frames, and the gif still image pop up. everything seems fine until I look at the frames to see that kind of crap! It happens completely randomly... Help!
