Is it just me, or does the Piranha Plant immediately die to any attack that does fire damage?

The plant will be immediately killed by any attack directly from an opponent (so anything that isn't a projectile). Projectiles, Waluigi or other characters on his team need to deal a sufficient amount of damage to destroy it.

Waluigi can also instantly despawn it by hitting it with his jab, in order to be able to quickly place it down somewhere else.

Turns out I predicted the Dice throw long ago! WAHAHAHA!!

A shame he doesn't have more Sports or Kart elements in his moveset though. He and Daisy are the perfect characters to represent Mario spinoffs! (It's why I don't like Daisy's moveset in Ultimate. It's just lazy and uninspired where it could have been amazing) Sure what we got is a great moveset overall but I kinda would have liked to see some Sluggers, Strikers and Golf themed attacks or maybe a Mario Kart item or two (I suppose Piranha Plant technically counts as a Mario Kart item now).

Maybe the Final Smash will be a more direct reference to Mario spinoffs?

Am I the only one hoping for a victory dance with a rose in his mouth? Also, all the poses you can fit in his moveset and such.
I'm calling it, the crotch chop will be a taunt, not a victory pose.
What I honestly hope is that his entrance is like the one at the start of the video, you just hear that echoing wah descending down from the sky, striking fear in the hearts of your opponents, but unfortunately, it will most likely be a pipe, to keep the theme going on with Mario, Luigi and Wario.

I love how the 6 on the Dice makes his Mario Kart 8 Horn.

Just realized that Purple Torpedo's animations are similar to Green Missile's animations in Ultimate (the charging pose, spinning when rocketing)

(meanwhile, luigi himself keeps the pre-ultimate green missile animation.)

You guys have fulfilled my lifelong dream. I am forever indebted to you, devs. WALUIGI IS FINALLY PLAYABLE AND I ABSOLUTELY LOVE ALL OF HIM! His moveset, his properties, his sprites, his voice clips, his sound effects, his taunts, his victory theme (I almost nutted hearing it), his classic mode ending, EVERYTHING!!

This is the most fun character I've ever played

Besides Rayman, Waluigi is the character I had the most fun playing with.

The devs did a good job at making him a fun character to use

if anyone is interested on what the dice does
1 is a slight flinch but practically close to nothing
2 is one of those damageless knockbacks
3 is poison
4 is 4% dealing shock
5 is 8% grounding attack
6 is a bomb

The windbox on 2 is actually pretty damn powerful, more useful than his 6 IMO! It practically one shotted the Metal Bros when I played through Insane Classic!
