I see you guys found Genjinka Klink. I was about to come and post about it. There is always the chance this thing is a normal pokemon from gen 7 a la Lucario Movie and Zoroark Movie, which featured new, non-legendaries before their gen as title characters. Unless I missed where they said 100% confirmed legendary or something stupid like I'm liable to do.

Speculation on the real-world setting of the new games? England? Greece? Italy? Australia?????
Honestly the latter has some great potential for a region
I'm not sure of any cultures that have heavy Sun/Moon themes besides Ancient Greek

Southern Italy and Australia have pretty iconic shapes, they're what I'd be deciding between.
Or they could always use the San Fransisco Bay Area

Grungy post-earth spaceships/spacestations. Replace surf with space-surf and fly with hyperspace jump. Full of man made, cloned, and extraterrestrial pokes. Safari Zone for the rare few species saved from extinction on earth.
