The list is somewhat weird, has you don't know who is your friend because there's no "friend request". You may have a friend in the list, but maybe he/she doesn't have you as a friend, or maybe he/she has you as an enemy, and vice-versa.

Those would come in handy, but shouldn't an auto PM be sent with it?

That's true. I experimented with my brother's account.
He added me as a friend, and I saw no difference in the List.

Mine is more of a "who I stalk" list


I don't see why someone would add you unless you've been talking with them though Pm's or something.

They could just add you by messing with you. It's just weird for someone to have "friends" when they really aren't.

The purpose of the friends list is to track users your talk with frequently (and opposite for the foe list). It's not the same thing as you'd see on a social network or something. So the system will have to stay as-is, it's tough to change a built in system
