I feel like maybe Luigi's still a "secret" character, but Toon Link is a starter now
Either way I hope you're right about the secret characters being mainly newcomers. I'd rather they not play their cards too early. The reveal of the secret characters wasn't really exciting with Brawl since there were only three - one we already knew about (Lucario), one who got angrily labeled as a clone (Wolf, who we believed was a clone since Ganondorf hadn't changed), and R.O.B., who was f*** awesome but weird enough to alienate a lot of people. Anyway point is nobody was happy so I hope they've got some more secret newcomers |

The people that actually paid attention didn't call him a clone
But there was a lot of excitement and confusion. Falco's back? Ganon's still a clone? Young Link got a name change and he's still a clone? OMG THERE'S ANOTHER FOX CLONE TOO He isn't of course but it lead to the final reveal being underwhelming as hell |
