Doomguy is definitely never getting in, but I'd love to see him. Now that we have Banjo, Doomguy's been bumped up to my #1 most wanted character for sure

From a dev/publisher who has been real cozy with Nintendo lately

I don't see it happening this time around (I doubt they'd make 2/5 of the DLC picks characters Japan doesn't give a s*** about) but I definitely wouldn't count him out

As much as I want Doomguy in, I feel like Nintendo might go with the more thematically appropriate Dragonborn for Bethesda's first rep. Definitely agree he has a chance later on, though.

don't know what his company has been up to recently and don't know if he'll be seen as worth it after having two ninja characters but if we say the criteria are characters that are important to nintendo's history and gaming in general, I think he has the best shot

If Gordon got in Smash, I'd want Chell as an assist. It's just a shame she doesn't really get enough from her game to flesh her out into a fighter.
