Regrettably the time has come for me to announce MG's disaffiliation with the Expansion Forums.

Those of you who are familiar with the Expansion forums are probably aware that it has been around for years, and has transformed quite a bit since its inception. However there is one thing that hasn't changed, and that's the fact that the expansion forums are not run by MG in any shape or form.

Therefore, I am announcing today that officially MG no longer endorses the SSF2 Expansion Forums.

Please note that this will not affect our plans for expansion content. MG will have its own system for managing and distributing DLC after the full release of the game. But until then I am not offering any support for unofficial expansion content. There currently are no standards set for spriting expansion material, so I don't want to encourage it to the public before we have even set up a system for it, I hope you understand. It would be a shame to see a lot of wasted effort on sprites that don't necessarily meet our standards.

Anyway, be sure to check by every so often since we'll have more positive news to post soon.
