IC: Tekun trudged through the snowfield as the wind began to pick up as the blizzard began to die down. It was snowing yet, unusual weather for this region, though he was accustomed to it, he was unnerved by this, it seemed strange, unnatural. He continued traveling for near an hour, until he reached his destination. A clearing, less snow, something lieing in the middle of this large space in the field The object he sought was almost in his grasp. Soon he could use this and bring an end to his journey and finally rest. He began to approach steadily. Untired by the journey and now no longer phased by the cold.

Barbas had been traveling for weeks, but it felt as if he had been out for months. His thumbs were numb from the cold. The sun was hidden behind the clouds, snowing. He grew closer, images of him finally getting what he had been after for the weeks before filling his mind. Almost there, the snow dying down. His hands balled in a fist, determined.


As the snow seemed to disappear, something caught his eye. Another traveler had come for that same thing which he had been after for weeks. He would not let this man get in his way, as he reached for his bow and a single arrow. He flung his right arm lifelessly behind his back, grabbing an arrow between his middle and index finger.


Holding his bow in his left hand, he twirled the arrow to right between his index and thumb, squinting his eyes and pulling back. A smirk going across his face, ear to ear. "This is it." He muttered, taking aim at the man's hand and releasing. The arrow could be heard cutting through the air as he instinctively reached for another arrow.

Tekun rolled forward as he heard and sensed something being fired. It was a distance away and he had almost no time to react. When he moved, the arrow was already up him. Had he not moved, he'd have been struck in the neck. He pulled out his blade to see who was firing at him, an archer of some sorts, after the same object. He was already drawing another arrow, he intended to kill. He began running at the man, sword drawn. He would have to do some dodging if he wanted to get close.

OoC: I really wish you guys would make up.. or atleast stop the name calling as you rp ._.

*Ignores last post* I agree, with the name calling at least, as for the making up...I wouldn't do it, why should I tell others to, amirite?))

Barbas sighed. "Figures" he grumbled. "Not only is he here, standing in my way, but he is armed."


His mind raced. He knew if the man got close enough, he had but his leather armor to protect him. He would either need to strike him down from a distance, or use his hands to fight. Either way, it would not be easy. His determination would either kill him, or help him to kill the one standing in his way.


There seemed to be no wind around him, perfect for aiming. He cracked his neck, fingers still stiff from the cold. Another arrow ready, he aimed it at the stranger's chest, knowing he would surely jump out of the way, he would fire another one to either side when he had lept away.


(( Fine, I'll stop. But DH is a prick. ))

He continued to run at Barbas, he was aiming, trying to anticipate the next move. Tekun would need to reacy occordingly if he wanted to live. He would need to outsmart Barbas and strike. It wouldn't be easy, but once he got close, he had a feeling the fight would be all but over.

OCC: That makes two of us.

Barbas tilted his head up. The man was running at full speed. Firing the arrow directly at his chest as he grabbed another almost immediately. He awaiting the man to move away from the arrow, that was when he would strike at him again. He would not let him get close, at least not unharmed. If he wanted to have any chance to fight this man up close, he needed to injure him first.

Tekun continued to charge, positioning his sword flat on it's side in front of him, up into the spot where the arrow would hit and turning his body just to be sure. He never did take the time to dodge as he continued to pick up his pace. The arrow struck the sword and then went off towards the Tekun's right side as he turned the blade slightly upon impact. He managed to dodge the arrow, but that was because it was a shot he had predicted. This man was waiting for him to move so he could strike while he tried to regain balance and momentum. Tekun was determined to not fall for such mind games.
