2018 was a pretty good year for tunes. the album that struck me the hardest was definitely Yves Tumor - Safe In The Hands Of Love. this record honestly sounds unlike anything else out there, with insanely concise/clever/interesting lyrics, gorgeous chaotic textures, fantastic vocals.. god damn. i can’t suck this album’s dick hard enough. it’s f*** beautiful.

I only really listened to Ye's Wyoming Sessions albums and Astroworld (with some Denzel Curry and Young Thug thrown in the mix but I didn't listen to their whole albums so I won't count them). Daytona and KSG are easily the best out of the Wyoming Sessions (the other two are meh) and Astroworld is very overrated

Other than that I did a pretty piss poor job at keeping up with music last year lol

If I had one favorite album, it'd definitely had to be Queen's Platinum Collection Vol. 1. Just listening to Bohemian Rhapsody, the first song of the album is just so awesome!

id say u missed a lot of great stuff! there was a lot of good hip hop last year: avantdale bowling club, jpegmafia, doseone, brockhampton

Not gonna lie both music and video went in hard, especially at 1:04 - 1:50!

When it comes to Brockhampton I always hear the phrase "They're better than a group like them has any right to be" and this only furthers that exclamation lol. Saturation has been in my backlog for over a year so I should probably get on that

i’d start out with saturation 3 and if you like it, listen to iridescence

ugh there was so much this year, every time i look at this list i feel like i need to go back and make adjustments lol.

My favourite overall tune would probably be Evaporate by Dance Gavin Dance. The ending minute or so being a refrain of multiple choruses from their previous albums really speaks to my little scene boy heart.

Either that or How Simple by Hop Along. i vibe with this song on a spiritual level and it's also from my favourite album of the year so i can't NOT recommend it, ya know

ugh god i have to listen to that new dance gavin dance. i can’t believe i missed when that came out, i loooove instant gratification

it's their best album my dude. get on it, it's so good!
