Do you know how many times I have gone into a locked topic thinking it was still open JUST because the symbol for locked topics is similar to that of unlocked? I mean, if you look closely, sure, you can tell the difference, but would it not just make more sense to have a :lock: symbol to appear next to any locked topics?

I think the difference is quite clear, actually. I've never walked into a locked topic thinking it was unlocked.
There's no need for a change... Just look closer...

The locked topics have transparent symbols
what you can't see the difference?

I don't know if this is true in blablobb's case, but some people with vision impairments may have trouble with that, so it makes sense to do it with clarity, as long as it's easy, which it is, isn't it?

I ask myself the same question when I accidentally post in a locked topic.

It would be easier on the mods like Thai so they wouldn't be stupid enough to do such things, and bump locked topics. I agree, it's kinda hard to see, so I would vote to change it.

I agree with Blablob. It's too confusing to see which is which.

Get over it.

You made the mistake and open the topic and OH NO I WASTED MY TIME.

Psh, yeah right.
You're wasting your time being on this forum, as am I and everyone else.

If everything that was done on this forum was such a waste, then I'm guessing none of the major changes matter to you, nor the minor ones.

It's not a big deal, I know, and with a closer look you can quite easily tell the difference. The fact of the matter is this will be more convenient and make more sense.

Changes only matter to me if they affect me directly, otherwise I wouldn't give two s***.

How about we make the Locked topic symbol a giant lock? Good with that?
