I didn't mean only the battle system, if you think that is what I mean. There were some flaws in the story, as well. Also, the disability of playing no one else besides Emil and Marta, poor voice acting, and disability of travelling to the place by foot instead of already being there (like in ToS).

In my opinion the biggest problem of ToS2 is overusing the old cast. Completely new cast of characters would have been better in my opinion. However ToS2 is still one of my favourites.
Also the voice acting is not so bad, except for Lloyd.

Definely get Tales of Destiny DC that game is great just avoid putting the game on Chaos or else you may throw your
controller at the wall.
And if you want to play the hardest Tales of game get Tales of Rebirth.

And Tales of Symphonia: Dawn of the New World would have been great with a new cast, seeing as if they were to have Tenebrae playable, along with Alice and Decus, keeping Richter in the party, you already have 6 new characters as a main cast. Though that's true, the conflict between Emil and Lloyd was a bit interesting.
Voice acting was fine too IMO.

Try about 2 years. But still, I prefer Lloyd's second VA as he sounds more mature, and his first VA sounded a bit too childish and immature.

Yeah Destiny is great. I would also recommend Destiny 2.
