Real talk though, Luffy's Uair seems to have incredibly low knockback growth. It barely sends Meta Knight anywhere at 85%, as seen at 2:14, and doesn't even come close to killing at 152% at 3:00. Another great example of how weak it is at 3:40.

In this regard it seems to behave very similarly to Donkey Kong's current Uair, which means that more likely than not it will be an absolutely amazing tool to true combo fast fallers into hard-hitting kill moves. Super excited to get my hands on this guy.

I remember me requesting Angleable specials (some others might've suggested that too, idk)

I think they would actually help Luffy considering 3 of his attacks are command grabs but aren't disjoints, instead stretches his hurtbox.

This could also help for edgeguarding especially for those who recover high or low.

But that's just my opinion, what do you think guys? Will Luffy benefit from having angleable N,S, and maybe U specials?

sora can only go in 1 direction(2 if you count left and right). with angles.
Luffy would have Up, as well as left/right.
And while we're at it, lets give ZSS angleable whip swings, and samus angleable missiles, and falco angleable lasers.

Seriously, leave the angleable stuff for the few and required. Wait until devs have time to give every character an angleable attack before asking for such an extreme range move to non-linear
