Here's the summary:

Negima is about some 10 year-old Welsh kid who teaches an allgirls middle school. (Lucky) He secretly is a sorcerer, and is teaching at the school so he can become a Magister Migurum. (Spelling?) He has many ordeals along the way, including pacts with the devil, deaths of friends, and vampires, etc.

I tried reading the manga, it's bleh.

They talk too much, it actually strains my eyes after a few chapters.

And the reason they talk too much is because the creator keeps dropping plot twists on it, it gets ridiculous later on, with each chapter ending the cliffhanger of the last chapter, only to end with one itself.
