All my fine coding friends, I need some assistance.

The problem I have doesn't seem to affect my gameplay in terms of what I've been doing, however I still don't like the fact
that I get an error message whenever I execute my program.

I'm using functions to handle he the tasks of my duplicate movieclips. I keeps things cleaner for me.

However say I need to remove one of my duped MC's. The output box explains

Code:
Error: A 'with' action failed because the specified object did not exist

I understand I'm deleting the object that actually called the function. However is there a way to uncall a function or something along those lines.

From what I've searched, it seems as though once a function has been called it is impossible for the function to be uncalled.

So to those here who I know have vast experience in flash, can you help me out?

Edit: Never mind, fixed it myself. Executing the function in an if statement seems to remedy the problem.

Lock please or something.
