Just like in the actual Smash series, the only real "Ice" character is the Ice Climbers and only 2 of their moves actually use Ice

Also I think the Frozen effect is what's preventing more ice orientated users from joining Smash (coz you know, all their moves would freeze people and thus be cheap)

I say Toon Link has a better chance than Young Link because Spirit Tracks, Phantom Hourglass and Tri-Force Heroes gives him more games to take moves from.

To be fair, Young Link has Majora's Mask for inspiration.

So Young Link has 2 games (With OoT), Toon Link has 4 (With Wind Waker) and even more if you count the the older Four Swords games and Minish Cap. (Not like I dislike Young Link though, it's just Toon has more reason to be in.)

Don't get me wrong, I understand where you're coming from. I just feel that not adding Young Link by having him use the various masks found in Majora's Mask in his moveset would be a big miss of an opportunity for SSF2.

I'm not going to say it would be easy to program, but I have a lot of faith in the devs to make a Majora's Mask-based moveset for Young Link work.

As a final note, I'd like to say that for the record, I also do NOT dislike or hate Toon Link. I just feel that Young Link with a Majora's Mask-based moveset in SSF2 would be something amazing to behold (IMO).

I hope that, if they do end up adding Ganondorf, they give him a worthy moveset, and not that shoddy crap he has in SSB4, that makes him look like he's an grumpy, and worn out octogenarian Cpt. Falcon fan. (And who knows, maybe even his sprite based on hyrule warriors. [0u0])

He's cute, has a good chunk of potential for a moveset because of all his brothers (And the Mites, they count too since they're the literal face of the SSE,) he's made out of GDubbs' innards and he can be next to Sandbag in the Smash Bros. reps (Since they're like the only two that make sense to be playable, the only other "Smash" Characters are the various MultiMen which are all just copy-pastes of other fighters, the Miis, and Bomb. Not much room for any creativity in them, methinks )
