Both of them are on page 10, actually, but here is 3's list again. 194, could you add the role lists for all games to the opening post, please? It would be more convenient than the current state of affairs.

List of role PMs for Mafia 3:
Mafia in Space: show
Townie roles

1. Insane Cop / Faulty Mind Reader

Text: You are a Mind Reader. Every night you may chose a target who’s mind you wish to read. This will reveal whether they are innocent or guilty.

You win with the Crew.

2. Flavor Cop / Investigator

Text: You are an Investigator. Every night you may pick a target who’s room you wish to investigate. You will find clues pertaining to that person’s role.

You win with the Crew.

3. Mortician / Forensic Scientist

Text: You are a Forensic Scientist. Every night, you may chose a dead person’s brain to examine. You will learn this person’s role.

You win with the Crew

4. Jail Keeper / Door Warden

Text: You are a Door Warden. You have access to the controls for all the doors on this floor of the Aniraco. Every night, you may chose a person’s door to lock. This will prevent anyone from going in, as well as going out. Essentially, you will simultaneously protect and roleblock your target.

You win with the Crew.

5. Bus Driver / Portal Tech

Text: You are a Portal Tech. Every night, you may place portals on any two people’s doors. Any actions targeted to one will affect the other. You may place two portals or none. You may place a portal on your own door, if you wish.

You win with the Crew

6. Vigilante / Bounty Hunter

Text: You are a Bounty Hunter. Every night, you may chose a target to eliminate. Providing you didn't kill on the previous night, you may also kill someone during the day. However, be aware that this will not end the day phase, and you will suffer the loss of your powers.

You win with the Crew

7. Head Mason / Secret Society Leader

Text: You are the head of a Secret Society. Every night, you may recruit someone to join your group. If you try to recruit an armed player, they have the option of killing you, or of joining your group. Be wary. The members of your Secret Society can communicate with each other at night.

You win with the Crew.

Third-party roles

8. Cult Leader Alpha / Hive Mind

Text: You are the Hive Mind. You appear to be a regular crew member, but in truth your body is home to a deadly parasite. Every night, you may chose a player to infect. Be wary, though, as armed players can kill you when you attack them. Because you are the collective mind of the organism, your death will cause all infected persons to die as well.

You win when all living players are under the control of the Hive Mind.

9. Amnesiac / Adaptive Organism

Text: You are an Adaptive Organism. On any night that you wish, you may visit a deceased player in the morgue. You will assume the role said player had when they died. You will keep any items that you had previously.

Mafia roles

10. Godfather / Space Pirate Captain

Text: You are the Space Pirate Captain. You communicate with your crew at night and decide who you want to kill. You appear innocent to investigative roles.

You win when it is no longer possible for the Space Pirates to lose any more members.

Your crew members are:
- [:]
- snowflakecat

11. Usurper/Poisoner / Space Pirate Mutineer/Poison expert

Text: You are a Space Pirate Mutineer. Your goal is to become the Space Pirate Captain, and you can only do that if you get rid of the current captain. You communicate with the pirate crew each night, and help decide who you want to eliminate.

You also happen to be an expert in poisons, and that is the means by which you will kill people. Instead of dying on the night of your visit, poisoned players will expire the following night.

You win when the Captain is dead and it is no longer possible for the Space Pirates to lose any more members.

Your crew members are:
- Tid (Captain)
- [:]

12. Mafia Jailer / Space Pirate Hacker

Text: You are a Space Pirate Hacker. With your skills, you have managed to hack into a section of the ships computer, and now have control of all the doors on this floor of the Aniraco. Every night, you may chose a person’s door to lock. This will prevent anyone from going in, as well as going out. Essentially, you will simultaneously protect and roleblock your target. You win with the Crew.

You will also communicate with the pirate crew at night to help decide who you want to eliminate. You cannot both kill and lock a door on the same night.

You win when it is no longer possible for the Space Pirates to lose any more members.

Your crew members are:
- Tid (Captain)
- snowflakecat

There's a Google Doc somewhere for MG 3.

BelieveBlood is funny. Dephius didn't post once between his two latest, and yet his opinion of him changes drastically:

I'm sorry Dephius if you're actually a town and more sorry if you're actually a doctor, but there is so much that goes against you it's not even funny.

I know for sure that both Terra and Dephius visited 135. I'm not a tracker. That leaves few possibilities.

Also Vote: BelieveBlood

Sees opportunity to lynch Doctor, seizes it.

Hmm, so apparently DJ Wizard Cop, Believeblood, and Dephius are kind of in some sort of...conflict.

So DJ Wizard Cop, question for you, how uch do you suspect Dephius right now?

I gave him something. Going any further will basically be claiming.

So DJ isn't a tracker, since he knows exactly who visited 135. There's one non-maf watcher from MG Mafia 9.

@TOWK: It is very strange to see a doc claim so early, even earlier than Nixter last game(L-2, remember?).
@BB: This seems highly similar to what I did D2 in MG Mafia 11. Extract a claim, then lynch on the grounds that he's lying.

Yeah that's what I'm saying. Seems to me he got startled DJ caught him in the act, and went right to his safeclaim when votes started coming down on him.

Ok, here we have a breakdown of the three primary possibilities regarding the message that Terra received.

1. - Terra is lying about having received a PM regarding Believeblood's scumhood. This would mean that Terra is scum and Believeblood could be either alignment depending on Terra's chosen strategy.

2. - Terra received a truthful PM from Cthulhu. This pushes the read on Terra more towards the town end of the spectrum while remaining inconclusive. Believeblood is practically confirmed as scum in this case, barring the presence of a Ramesy-type role or a bus driver.

3. - Terra received a PM from a mafia-aligned fake dream cop. In this case Terra is town and Believeblood could be either alignment depending on Mafia strategy.

Now, looking at this, I think that calling the bluff and lynching Believeblood is actually the right course of action. Think about it for a moment. There are three possible outcomes here.

1. Believeblood flips as town.
This all but eliminates the possibility of Cthulhu being in the game, which means that we can disregard any future PMs received that state "X is guilty."

2. Believeblood flips as scum.
Two possible deductions from this outcome. Either Cthulhu is in the game, or we successfully called the Mafia's bluff and blasted through their Wine in front of me trap. Either way it's good because it's a scum lynch.

3. Believeblood flips as third party.
Basically the same as #2, but the second possible deduction changes Mafia just being unlucky in their selection of fake dream cop subject.

So, that said, Vote: Believeblood.

Believeblood, if you have an important role, you should claim once the wagon reaches its later stages.

As for Dephius, I think his claim was a really bad idea but not necessarily indicative of scum play. If anyone else is a doctor though, try to subtly steer a lynch in his direction without claiming. I'm almost certain that there aren't two doctors in the game, so if someone out there is one then Dephius is probably faking.

If you will allow me a bit of meta gaming speculation, then I would propose that Luke makes a lot of sense as the choice for the doctor role due to 194's fondness for the Layton series. This lends a smidgen of credibility to Dephius' claim. Along the same lines, however, a Layton character makes a good candidate for a safe-claim as it provides a way for the moderator to include more characters from those games. I think we should go about it this way, then. If a Layton role ends up dead and one of us has another drawn from that game, then chances are Dephius is lying. If not, then he is probably telling the truth. Something to watch out for as the game goes on.

194, can you confirm the presence of two roles from each source game?

I don't suffer from equal reps syndrome. Therefore, I confirm that different source games got different reps numbers.

Yeah the one you posted doesn't give enough detail.

Need the actual phrasing and technicalities of every role in there to actually be able to use it. I'm not ready to draw any conclusions until I have complete information.

@Brik thanks for posting the ones from 7

What I want to know is if you're not a tracker then how do you know Terra and Dephius both visited 135? In fact the whole reason that I voted for Dephius was the mere fact that you said you weren't a tracker(and the trolling afterwards.), this meant you had a very little chance of actually guessing correctly that Dephius visited 135, despite this Dephius said that he actually did visit 135. This made me think that Dephius was faking his claim and his visit in order to avoid getting lynched.

Also drastically is not exactly the word I would use for my change in opinion. I was actually pondering if voting for Dephius was worth the risk of losing a doctor. TOWK actually reminded me that the mafia can have safe claims. This made me think about Dephius post regarding his claim. I was wondering why exactly Dephius would tell us that he was specifically Luke from mafia 4, instead of telling us he was just a protection role. It just made him look desperate, even though a protection role would be more then enough for most people to back off. I then decided that the claim is most likely fake and put my vote in. That's all

That's seriously all we get from having lynched me or having me claim? I don't think thats really worth it.
Think about it for a second.
From lynching me you lose 1)An active who actually doesn't just sit around and repeat everything being said and 2)A counter mafia member. To me that's definitely not worth it.
If I claim then I would appear innocent and you practically gaurunteed me to be killed the next night, or have the mafia pull a WIFOM the next day by not killing me(which ultimately leads to my death.)
By going as far as making me claim I die either way, not really the best method is it?

Also Layton is not in the game. 194 said so in the first post.

Thanks. Can you also confirm the presence of at least one role from each source game? Roy must be rolling in his retirement grave right now.

I'm going to go out on a limb and guess that if any games got only one representative, Pokémon mafia was one of them. If I recall correctly, this was 194's least favorite set-up out of those included. Thus, such an assumption isn't too big of a stretch. Layton, Touhou, Cave Story and Devs vs. Balancers are all candidates for set-ups with three representatives, methinks.

@Believeblood: Dude, you seriously underestimate the value of knowing whether or not Cthulhu is in the game. If we know that he isn't, then it prevents the Mafia from setting up any more of these ridiculous WIFOM scenarios. That's worth a lot. Unless you have a super amazing role, then I would seriously consider trading you for that knowledge. Nothing against you personally of course, you just happen to be the guy that the mafia chose to frame.

On the other hand, you could flip as scum and none of that will matter.  Colon pea.

I must admit that I like the points you made against Dephius. Claiming Doctor is so annoying that it should be against the rules. }: I
I'm still not sure where to stand on that one.

Lastly, I wasn't referring to the Layton role specifically. I meant to say roles taken from the Layton game. I guess I could have been more clear, my apologies. It doesn't matter now though since that line of reasoning was rendered nigh-useless by 194's post.

I'm not the kind of mod which lies about the setup. I confirm that every game listed in the OP got at least one representation in this setup.

Brik, Cthulhu was town sided. Why in the hell would a town sided player try to convince another town sided player someone was scum on Night 1. I guess you could say a cop investigated BB and sent the results to Terra, but I don't think a role like that existed. Also, Terra was under flak Day 1. Why would an investigative roles send it to him of all people (no offense of course).

I think it's extremely likely that the PM was sent by a scum player to Terra in some sort of odd confusion tactic.

I don't believe we're heard from him at all Day 2.
