What do you guys think of Sky Pillar and Suzaku Castle? Honestly, I think that they're really good stages and that Suzaku Castle would be a good tournament friendly stage, while Sky Pillar would be a good online/casual competitive friendly stage. I'm planning on playing on both stages quite a lot in training mode.

I'm liking the Suzaku layout, but hoping the sprite gets polished a bit before release.

Sky Pillar's spritework is my favourite one in the game. And the layout is pretty good for casual matches.
As for Krozoa Palace, I like the fan hazard in the middle. It seems you can be KO'd just by jumping lol. Also the whole stage feels comfy.

Suzaku Castle would probably be really annoying in competitive play since it seems super easy to just camp under the platform

yeah I like Suzaku's layout but I absolutely think the perspective needs more work

Sky Pillar on the other hand is f*** fantastic, I'm glad they went with the ORAS version (hence why it's at night)
If I had to suggest any changes for Sky Pillar or Krazoa Palace, is I feel both stages don't scream their original games that much (both the Hoenn games and SF Adventures)

If I had to suggest any changes, I think i'd be nice if both stages had more symbols or stuff to decorate the stage (mainly the center could have a giant mural with symbols representing Rayquaza's fight with Groudon & Kyogre), meanwhile Krazoa Palace could have either a giant statue in the middle of the background or the crystal where Krystal was sealed

Either way these stages look wonderful

However the thing what makes me restless is about the similarities of the susaku castle stage with the outer space stage in Smash Bros Crusade. That's too suspicious, or is that a coincidence?

Yeah the perspective on Suzaku Castle looks freaking awkward, but I'm fine with everything else. And Sky Pillar is majestic.

I think it's clever how they based Suzaku Castle on the platform we can't see on the right blast zone of the Ultimate version, though it could really use something on the main platform so the other doesn't look like it's floating.

Sky Pillar looks like it might be annoying to fight on, but I'll wait to pass judgment because it still looks really good.
