Never thought I'd be in this forum O_O

Let me cut strait to the chase. I usually do all my programming in flash (As2, learning As3). But limited to what I can really do, me and a couple friends are looking to move on to better coding languages.

So we looked to C#. It seems you can do virtually anything with it, based on the fact video game developers use it, and Xbox games are even made using it.

We found a good set of tutorials HERE; but its not enough. It only teaches how to do simple commands and send them to windows command prompt. D:

Does any one have a good source of C# tutorials or any tips? It'd be really appreciated.

There's always the XNA framework to get you started.

Well, I have it, but How would I start? The tutorial doesn't really go in depth.

Have you figured out how to import a sprite?

Have you figured out how to make a sprite move?

Have you figured out simple collision detection?

Have you figured out how to program inputs?

If the answer is yes to all these questions you should at least be able to program pong.

Pong's a good start I guess. I was trying to figure out mostly how a window is set up. In flash, I can see where everything will be. But this is a whole new thing to me!

Get used to it haha. Flash is a very watered down version of real programming, and if you end up working in games or w/e this is more the kind of development environment you'll end up working with.
