I think Dark Meta Knight and Morpho Knight costumes for Meta Knight would be great (i don't know if he has the DMK one now.)

: Cherry Spray Paint, Shadow Kirby (KatAM), Emerald Spray Paint, and Maskless Dark Meta Knight.

: Jotaro Kujo and Dio costumes, similar to Banjo & Kazooie's Jotaro Kujo and Dio costumes in Smash Ultimate.

: Black Shadow costume, Bio-Rex costume, Mighty Gazelle costume, Roger Buster costume, a costume of either The Skull or Sonic Phantom, and either a John Tanaka costume or a Wonder Wasp costume.

: The Magic Red Black Mage costume, which first appeared in 2010's Mario Sports Mix game.

: Goku Black, Vegito (the one from Super Dragon Ball Heroes w/ the black gi), Broly (DBS), Goku (GT), and Vegeta costumes.

: Shadow Link from the Legend of Zelda: Four Swords manga adaptation (shown below).

See, the point is, Banjo & Kazooie's black and blue costumes are supposed to resemble Jotaro and Star Platinum from the JoJo's Bizarre Adventure OVA in 1993, and Banjo & Kazooie's yellow and gold costumes are supposed to resemble Dio from said 1993 OVA and The World from the JoJo's Bizzare Adventure: Stardust Crusaders anime.

NOW do you understand? Forget what the SmashWiki says, because that's just messed up. I don't care if Banjo & Kazooie's black and blue and yellow/green and gold costumes are references to characters and costumes from their series, they resemble JoJo's Bizzare Adventure: Stardust Crusaders characters.

They are not Jojo's references, you can not be for real.

That's one helluva way to disregard a character's franchise.
No functioning human being could legitimately think that those costumes would be references to an entirely separate franchise with no possible way to canonically link them to each other.
Just because some characters happen to have the same color in their palette, doesn't mean it's a direct reference. It's like calling Sonic a Mario rip-off because he literally shares the same palette (sans the brown, but that's besides the point).

I wasn't saying that they were referencing them, I was just saying that they were RESEMBLING them.
