Okay. First things first. Party members. Honestly, I'm pissed that Estelle was basically the only healer. In Tales of Symphonia, you had Zelos/Kratos which could serve as somewhat of healers, and so could Regal. Now, let's take this into comparison; Zelos/Kratos both had wide-range healing spells and First Aid. Regal also had Healer and whatever his second skill was. Yes, sure, normally, you would be able to compare this to Raven and Karol. Raven had healing shot or whatever it was and Karol had Nice Healing Smash or something. But they both had really awkward controls and they didn't heal that much. Raven's healing shot didn't ever seem to do much for me; hell, I barely used it. Most of the time, when I did use it, my characters were losing health faster than regaining. And then Karol? You have to walk up to your ally? With the fact that chances are your allies are gonna be moving fast? That's kinda terrible.

Then we have the fact that Yuri, Karol, Repede, Judith, and Raven are all fighting characters. What the hell am I looking at? In Abyss, it wasn't possible to have an all-melee party. In Symphonia, they limited that to 4 (I'm counting Zelos and Kratos as one.) unless you count Sheena, who is more towards support/magic, although not by much.

Now, if the fact that they're all fighters isn't ridiculous in itself, the fact that three of them play really awkwardly when compared to Luke, Yuri, or Lloyd? Judith is mainly air combat, but she can only strike once or twice (excluding artes) in the air? Take a look at Emil. Look how well they had his air attacks. Karol is unbelievably slow in an almost uncomfortable way, but I'm gonna keep that as a personal thing, because he might be outside of my playing style (Although I can manage with Presea..). But then Raven. I really wanted to main Raven. I really did. But he plays so strange with the fact he changes fighting styles so fast. You might think you're far enough to use the bow when next thing you know, you're using knives and missing completely.

Alright, now here's some things that were really bothering me. The story seemed really strangely paced and it was sort of a mess. Let's start with Estelle. She kept on randomly deciding what she wants and then changes her opinion seconds later. Does she want to go back with Flynn? Oh, for about a couple of minutes. Barely surviving even with six extra people accompanying you? Okay, then, you should probably decide to go across this blazing hot desert alone! Genius idea, Estelle!

Alright, let's push Estelle's personality aside, but still keep her there. Right after you retrieve the Aque Blastia, suddenly, talking bird tells Estelle she should die. There isn't much hinted about what Entelexia even are at that point, but they just randomly throw one in there so that now you have a reason to keep going. It was terrible timing to do such a thing. And you don't even bring the damn Blastia back to see how the town manages after that, and you give it to Flynn to do that? Wasn't that what you were sort of looking forward to?

Brave Vesperia for the entire game was a joke. Honestly, it felt like children's play. Yuri and Judith both feel like they're "playing along" and they barely know how any of this works. And Karol pushes so damn hard about how they can't do something. Who the hell is watching? Is there someone on your a** 24/7 so that you can't just get Estelle to where she needs to be? The fact that Karol's the leader is just making it worse. The most painful part of it all? Yuri takes it so seriously by the end, I don't even.. just.. wow. "Is Brave Vesperia nothing to you!? The Guild is more than just you now!" ..Well, yeah, I wouldn't take it too seriously either Yuri, it's children's play.

The game also brought things upon you quite strangely to the point where you don't know what the hell anything is anymore. Blastia is used for so much and they barely even go over it at first, and there you are, just sitting there with your poker face, going "what" the entire cutscene. I had to go on the Tales Wiki to just understand what Blastia were. Rita's mumbo jumbo that nobody can understand 90% of the time just enforces how irritating it is.

At the end, the game felt really rushed. Suddenly, Duke's a bad guy, you're going around killing your will-be summon spirits (which you don't even actually summon) and everyone decides that the world doesn't need Blastia and only tells a few people about it. Then they f*** over the entire world that survives on Blastia. ..k

Sodia's logic was worse than stereotypical "girl logic". So you save millions of people, save the guy she loved, fought Alexei and saved your party's a** as well, so she.. stabs you because she thinks you're a bad influence. The f***?

Yuri, Estelle, and Rita's overpoweredness. Yuri's no-stagger skill is overpowered in itself. Rita can spam Tidal Wave with Overlimit and I can't be exact about Estelle.. But I know she's also overpowered.

Achievements were a b****. Plant Serpent where the boss will put its tail? Yeah, okay, because I can totally guess where it's gonna put itself. And shooting Yeager's heart? Oh God, that was a real pain..

Sidequests were so easily missed. I mean, you could cry, they were so easily missed. You would PROBABLY need a guide to hit every single one. I was pissed I couldn't fight Yeager's adorable lolis..
