figured i'd post this here. lately (for like the past week?) whenever i've signed onto skype it seemingly connects fine, but then whenever i try to send anyone a message it won't go through. it also doesn't let me change my online status (do not disturb, away, online, invisible, etc), and it's been bugging the hell out of me because i can't talk to anyone on it. it also freezes up a lot and generally lags, when it wouldn't do that before, like, at all.
i wouldn't post here about it but i've basically tried everything else (deleting and reinstalling skype, going into %appdata% and deleting the skype data folder to 'reset' everything, rebooting my computer, etc)
pretty much at my wit's end here, if anybody could offer any help i'd appreciate it

have you tried contacting skype support?? like it might just be a problem with ur comp but idk desperate times call for desperate measures
