Oh, hell yes. Of course, developers hardly ever see the music playin' as important a role in the game as the story or characters. Try muting the music for any of your games. You'll find it becomes far less enjoyable and almost boring. Each track in Monster Hunter has an orchestral spike that reinvigorates you as you're fighting the gigantic beast. It may not be the interactive music we seek, but it's definitely a start.

Bah, don't say that when there are plenty of examples I could name, hell, even the flash game Colony has interactive music. Incidentally, the Dawn of War 2 soundtrack is just arranging sound clips that play during campaign, and is free.
